Días después de la graduación de Pedro (mi cuñado), sus padres le tenían preparada una fiesta para celebrar que terminó el bachillerato. Ellos trabajan todos los días, así que con mucho gusto se tomaron el fin de semana para celebrar la culminación de esta etapa.

Al principio dijeron que sería algo muy sencillo, pero de repente llegó su mamá con un montón de donas, galletas, marquesas, pie de limón, alfajores y pasapalos salados con distintas salsas. Perfecto para un día de piscina donde no quieres comer comida pesada para disfrutar todo el día nadando.

Cuando llegamos recorrimos el lugar y lo primero que vi y me asombró mucho fue esto:

¡Es cacao! Maravilla de la naturaleza y tesoro de nuestra tierra, aunque este espécimen se encontraba plagado por cocos, yo igual me emocioné muchísimo por ver una mata de cacao que además tenía fruto 😱. Por supuesto, estas matas fueron sembradas por el dueño del lugar que más tarde nos contó que en años anteriores ha tenido mejores cosechas. Alrededor de la casa también había muchas matas de onoto, plátano y bambú. El lugar era bastante bonito, especialmente por las montañas de fondo.

Antes de bañarnos fuimos a jugar "bolas" o más bien a pasar vergüenza ¡Jaja! Aunque es bastante fácil de jugar, hay que tener experiencia para saber usar la fuerza a la hora de lanzar.

No les mentiré, estuve un rato en los columpios y en la rueda porque bueno la diversión no tiene límite de edad, quizás límite de tamaño, pero yo soy chiquita 😂 y pude dar unas vueltas para recordar mi infancia ¡jaja! Estaba en mi elemento.

Soñé despierta con tener un hogar así mientras recorría el lugar, entre esos recorridos salió esta foto superchistosa, y en la piscina no me tomaron ni una foto borrosa 😂.

Sé que parece que estoy bailando ¡Oppan Gangnam Style! pero créanme, no tengo idea de qué hizo mi esposo para sacar esa foto, creo que tiene el superpoder de sacar fotos chistosas.

Fuimos los primeros en meternos a la piscina porque cuando llegaron todos los amigos de Pedro se quedaron charlando, lo único triste es que yo no llevé traje de baño cuando hice la maleta para Trujillo, así que me tocó bañarme con la ropa que traía puesta 😭.

Mi consejo es: llévate un traje de baño, no importa el destino 😂.

Lo que más me gustó de ese día fue la calma que se sentía allí, lo verde del paisaje, la mata de cacao y esta mantis que encontramos entre las hojas, parecía una hoja seca, perfecta y peculiar, había mucho que observar más allá del horizonte.

Lo que menos me gustó de ese día fue tener que irme 😭.

En fin, las delicias de la vida a veces vienen en forma de días tranquilos y en familia, quizás días de piscina o días en casa bajo la sombra de una mata de mango.

Acuérdense de celebrar cada logro en familia, pues el tiempo no se repite, pero los buenos recuerdos prevalecen en el tiempo ✨.

A few days after Pedro's (my brother-in-law) graduation, his parents had a party prepared for him to celebrate his high school graduation. They work every day, so they gladly took the weekend to celebrate the culmination of this stage.

At first they said it would be something very simple, but suddenly her mom arrived with a lot of donuts, cookies, marquesas, lemon pie, alfajores and salty snacks with different sauces. Perfect for a pool day where you don't want to eat heavy food to enjoy all day swimming.

When we arrived we toured the place and the first thing I saw and was really amazed by was this:

It's cocoa! Wonder of nature and treasure of our land, although this specimen was plagued by coconuts, I was still very excited to see a cocoa bush that also had fruit 😱. Of course, these bushes were planted by the owner of the place who later told us that in previous years he has had better harvests. Around the house there were also many onoto, banana and bamboo bushes. The place was quite beautiful, especially because of the mountains in the background.

Before bathing we went to play "balls" or rather to be embarrassed haha! Although it is quite easy to play, you have to be experienced to know how to use your strength when throwing.

I won't lie to you, I spent some time on the swings and on the wheel because well fun has no age limit, maybe size limit, but I'm tiny 😂 and I was able to take a few laps to remember my childhood haha! I was in my element.

I daydreamed about having a home like this while touring the place, in between those tours this super funny photo came out, and in the pool I didn't even get a blurry picture 😂.

I know it looks like I'm dancing Oppan Gangnam Style! but believe me, I have no idea what my husband did to take that picture, I think he has the super power to take funny pictures.

We were the first ones to get into the pool because when Pedro's friends arrived all of them stayed there chatting, the only sad thing is that I didn't wear a swimsuit when I packed my suitcase for Trujillo, so I had to swim with the clothes I was wearing 😭.

My advice is: take a swimsuit, no matter the destination 😂.

What I liked the most of that day was the calmness you felt there, how green the landscape was, the cocoa bush and this mantis we found among the leaves, it looked like a dry leaf, perfect and peculiar, there was a lot to observe beyond the horizon.

My least favorite thing about that day was having to leave 😭.

Anyway, life's delights sometimes come in the form of quiet, family days, maybe pool days or days at home under the shade of a mango tree.

Remember to celebrate every accomplishment as a family, for time does not repeat itself, but good memories prevail over time ✨.
