When I got discharged from the hospital and got back home, within a week my ears stopped working. I was only having the sensation of ringing. Doctors thought I was suffering from tinnitus( a disorder in the ear that causes the sensation of ringing in the ear). I took medicines and felt better, but within a couple of days, I started feeling dizzy. I can't stand, or sit. When I again went to the ENT he asked me to do a vertigo test. When he checked my reports, he told me that I was suffering from Labyrinthitis which is an inner ear order disease. It is caused due to bacterial or viral infection. At that time I don't give that much importance to my health. The doctor asked me to do a Vertible Rehabilitation Exercise(VRT) which is the only way to treat vertigo. However, due to work pressure, I skipped sessions as I was feeling better.
I don't feel anything in 2023. But now in 2024, October 03. I was hospitalized again as I suffered a severe liver infection. When I get discharged. Within a couple of weeks again I got a second attack of Labyrinthitis on October 29. My blood pressure shot up to 180 123 with a pulse rate of 67. It was the time when I realized how much I had damaged my body. My body parameters are abnormal. I thought it was now my last couple of days on earth. While lying on my bed one day, I only think about my parents and my dreams. I am just 24 and only pressure my body against its needs. My lifestyle is a total mess. No sleeping schedule, no diet plans.
When I went to my ENT he told me that it is a curable disease and can only be cured by VRT and changing lifestyle. Now my current situation is that my right ear is 60% damaged and it produces only ringing sounds. From 31 October to 21 November, I was on complete bed rest, and couldn't even stand on my legs. When I was writing this post I suffered 2 vertigo sessions of 20-25 seconds. My body feels weak.
But now I am doing Vertible Rehabilitation Exercise every day. I wake up early in the morning, do yoga, and eat healthy. Drinking around 2 liters of water every day. I am a teacher and my life is a bit stressful as I have to deal with students every day. Now I am prioritizing my physical and mental health which is very much needed by my body.
Changing my lifestyle is a bit challenging for me as I have to train my brain for a new approach of way of living. It is a time-consuming process and a long journey but I will take it up as a challenge and will change my way of living.
I will provide you with a detailed description of Labyrinthitis and share my Vertible Rehabilitation Therapies with you.
