Hello to all cactus and plant lovers! 🌵🌿
Today I want to share with you this beauty that my dad gifted to my mom, a very special cactus for her: an Echinopsis Tubiflora, also scientifically known as Cereus Tubiflorus. Originally from Argentina, this little wonder initially grows as a slow-developing globular cactus, capable of reaching up to thirty centimeters in height. It most commonly grows solitary, but if the conditions are ideal, it can form beautiful colonies!
The interesting thing is that this cactus came in a unique pot made from a coconut shell. A lovely detail for a plant that my mom appreciates so much! And the most exciting part of all is that the Echinopsis Tubiflora blooms! That's why it's also popularly known as "hedgehog cactus".
Isn't it a precious little thing? I love seeing how a small gift can bring so much joy, especially when it's a cactus for my mom! 😊

¡Hola a todos los amantes de los cactus y las plantas! 🌵🌿
Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes esta belleza que mi papá le regaló a mi mamá, un cactus muy especial para ella: una Echinopsis Tubiflora, también conocida científicamente como Cereus Tubiflorus. Originaria de Argentina, esta pequeña maravilla inicialmente crece como un cactus globoso y de desarrollo lento, pudiendo alcanzar hasta treinta centímetros de altura. Lo más común es que crezca solitaria, pero si las condiciones son ideales, ¡puede formar preciosas colonias!
Lo curioso es que este cactus venía en una original maceta hecha de una cáscara de coco. ¡Un detalle encantador para una planta que mi mamá tanto aprecia! Y lo más emocionante de todo es que la Echinopsis Tubiflora ¡da flores! Por eso, también se le conoce popularmente como "erizo".
