Greetings! dear hives and #lifestyle friends, it's already the weekend and I'm excited to share with you. Today I had to go back to Juan Griego because they approved the budget, with some conditions, but it was happily approved. This means that I will be a regular visitor to this municipality for work, and that makes me very happy.
The best thing about Juan Griego is that every time I go, there is always something new and different to see. That's what's so exciting about traveling there. Although the road seems long, it is relaxing and very enjoyable. Today I arrived at Juan Griego very early, taking the road to Portachuelo, which always has something beautiful to show among its mountains and vegetation. I was very focused on getting there early, and so I did.

Hoy tuve que volver a Juan Griego porque aprobaron el presupuesto, con algunas condiciones, pero fue felizmente aprobado. Esto significa que seré una visitante asidua de este municipio por trabajo, y eso me hace muy feliz.
Lo mejor de Juan Griego es que cada vez que voy, siempre hay algo nuevo y diferente que ver. Ahí es donde está lo emocionante de viajar hasta allá. Aunque el camino parece largo, es relajante y muy ameno. Hoy llegué a Juan Griego bien temprano, tomando la carretera de Portachuelo, que siempre tiene algo bello que mostrar entre sus montañas y vegetación. Iba muy concentrada en llegar temprano, y así lo hice.
After finishing my homework around 11:00 AM, I took the road back home for lunch. As I was more relaxed, I took my time to appreciate the way back. As I said, I always find something different. After passing by the hospital, I saw a nursing home. I understand it is the only nursing home on the island and I never thought I would stumble upon it.
Después de terminar mis tareas cerca de las 11:00 AM, tomé el camino de vuelta para almorzar en casa. Cómo iba más relajada, me tomé mi tiempo para apreciar el camino de vuelta. Como bien les dije, siempre encuentro algo diferente. Después de pasar por el hospital, vi un asilo de adultos mayores. Tengo entendido que es el único ancianato de la isla y nunca pensé tropezar con él.
But that was not the only thing I found on my way. I could also see that El Coreanito parts store has a branch here as well. That's good to know because they always have parts for my car.
Pero eso no fue lo único que encontré en mi camino. También pude ver que la venta de repuestos El Coreanito tiene una sucursal aquí también. Es bueno saberlo porque siempre tienen repuestos para mi auto.
The El Carpintero store also surprised me. Relatively close to my house there is one and they always have very good prices on wood door keys.
La tienda El Carpintero también me sorprendió. Relativamente cerca de mi casa hay una y siempre tienen muy buenos precios en los llavines para puertas de madera.
So, little by little, I continued my journey until I passed through Tacarigua, which always surprises me with its colors. I like the joy that emanates from this town.

I passed through Portachuelo and almost felt at home. The heat was very intense, so I stopped for a soda to cool off and continued without stopping until I got home.
Pasé por Portachuelo y ya casi me sentía en casa. El calor era muy intenso, así que me detuve para tomar un refresco para refrescarme y continué sin parar hasta llegar a casa.
Every trip to Juan Griego offers me a new perspective and an opportunity to discover more about this beautiful region. From the green mountains to the local stores, there is always something that captures my attention and leaves me wanting to return.
Today, for example, as I was driving back, I noticed how the sun's rays filtered through the trees, creating beautiful shadows all along the road. These little moments of natural beauty are what I really love, they make the trip worthwhile.
The day for me was productive and full of discoveries. These trips not only allow me to fulfill my work responsibilities, but also give me the opportunity to connect with nature.
