A RELAXING DAY AT THE BEACH (ENG/ESP)

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well today. I am sharing with you some pictures of the beach I went to due to the problems that are happening on the island.

For those who don't know, margarita is going through a power crisis for more than a week due to an event on the mainland. This is something that is out of our hands, which makes the situation desperate, as we cannot do anything about it. At the beginning I thought that this situation was a matter of days for the electric service to be fixed, but it was not like that and as the days went by the situation got worse and worse. What at the beginning was eight hours without electricity (which is already enough) became up to twenty hours without electricity in some sectors of the state.

Hola a todos, espero que se encuentren bien el día de hoy. Les comparto unas fotos de la playa a la que fui debido a los problemas que están ocurriendo en la isla
Para los que no saben, margarita está pasando por una crisis eléctrica desde hace más de una semana debido a un suceso en tierra firme. Esto es algo que no está en nuestras manos, lo cual vuelve desesperante la situación, ya que no podemos hacer algo al respecto. En un principio pensé que esta situación era cuestión de días para que se arreglara el servicio eléctrico, pero no fue así y conforme pasaban los días la situación iba empeorando los que en un principio eran ocho horas sin luz (lo cual ya es bastante) pasaron a ser hasta veinte horas sin luz en algunos sectores del estado.

Given the situation we are going through, my sister decided to go to the beach, since being at home in the heat was unbearable, we went shopping for some things at the supermarket and then went to the bayside to spend a nice time, that day was Friday so the beach was a little clear and I really appreciated it, since I do not like areas that are crowded with people. Something that caught my attention was a group of teenagers who apparently belonged to a ballet academy or something like that, since the steps they were practicing on the sand seemed to me to be contemporary dance. I don't really know, but I stayed a while watching from the water. We hung out and I took several pictures and even walked to the other end of the beach and taking advantage of the fact that there were rocks, I looked for one that I had been asked to take at school for a recreational group activity.

Dada la situación por la que estamos pasando, mi hermana decidió ir a la playa, ya que estar en la casa con calor era insoportable, pasamos comprando algunas cosas en el supermercado y luego fuimos al bayside a pasar un rato agradable, ese día era viernes por lo que la playa estaba un poco despejada y en verdad que lo agradecí, ya que no me gustan las áreas que están atestadas de gente. Algo que me llamó la atención fue un grupo de adolescentes que al parecer pertenecían a una academia de ballet o algo por el estilo, ya que por los pasos que practicaban en la arena me pareció que era danza contemporánea. La verdad no lo sé, pero me quedé un rato observando desde el agua. Pasamos el rato y tomé varias fotos e incluso caminé hasta el otro extremo de la playa y aprovechando de que había piedras, busqué una que me habían pedido en el colegio para una actividad de grupo de recreación. 

The next day we visited the beach again, after going to the market and buying other things for the house. This time I did not take pictures, as the beach was more crowded than the day before. Clearly, it was the weekend, which is logical because most people do not work and take the opportunity to spend some time with their families. Besides, I didn't take pictures because I wanted to make the most of the beach before having to go back to the house without electricity, which is the only good thing about not having electricity at home, that we visit the beach, as it is something we don't do often. I hope the light problem will be solved as soon as possible.

Al día siguiente visitamos la playa nuevamente, luego de hacer mercado y comprar otras cosas para la casa. En esta ocasión no tomé fotos, ya que la playa tenía más gente que el día anterior. Claramente, era fin de semana, lo que es lógico porque la gente en su mayoría no trabaja y aprovecha para pasar un tiempo en familia. Aparte, no tome fotos porque quise aprovechar la playa al máximo antes de tener que regresar a la casa sin luz, que siendo sincera es lo único bueno de no tener luz en casa, que visitamos la playa, ya que es algo que no hacemos menudo. Espero que el problema de la luz se resuelva lo más pronto posible.
