¿Torta de navidad en fin de año? ¡por supuesto que si! Sobre todo, si es una invitación a compartir, acompañar, cuidar y acompañar una relación de amistad que se ha nutrido un poco más este año.
Pero esta torta de navidad era diferente: miel, higos, especias, albaricoques y nueces de nogal. Cubierta con mazapán de almendra y cointreau (la mitad de los ingredientes tuve que investigarlos, jeje!). Fue una tarde dulce, diferente y uno de los últimos recuerdos para cerrar este año.
Christmas cake at New Year's Eve? Of course! Especially if it's an invitation to share, accompany, care for, and nurture a friendship that has grown a little stronger this year.
But this Christmas cake was different: honey, figs, spices, apricots, and walnuts. Covered with almond marzipan and Cointreau (I had to look up half the ingredients, hehe!). It was a sweet, different afternoon and one of the last memories to close out this year.
