[Eng-Esp] El Cumple de Evelin: Un día Inolvidable❤️‍🩹//Evelin's Birthday: An Unforgettable Day❤️‍🩹

Amistad, divino tesoro. La raíz de esta palabra está directamente enfocada en lo auténtico del sentimiento, y pues con esa misma pureza hoy celebramos el cumpleaños de una de las personas más valientes que he conocido en mi vida. Mi amiga Evelin es ejemplo de lo lejos que puede llegar una persona con propósito y voluntad inquebrantable. Por su entrega y por ser incondicional decidimos planear su cumpleaños con mucha antelación para que así todo fuera de maravilla. Desde un inicio sabíamos que el objetivo del cumple era que ella lo pasara genial y que tuviera a su lado a las personas que más quiere. Por eso acordamos invitar a sus familiares y amigos y celebrar su cumple en la piscina. Entre todas planeamos hasta los pequeños detalles y compramos los regalos para el gran día.
El día de la celebración nos levantamos temprano porque Evelin vive en otro municipio y el papá de una amiga nos llevó hasta allá. Desde las 8 de la mañana estábamos llenas de energías y locas por sorprenderla. Al llegar al pueblito Evelin nos recogió y fuimos a su casa, ahí la sorprendimos con los regalo y de inmediato se probó todo mientras llamaba a sus padres que viven en España para contarles todo. Hicimos una merienda y tomamos un rico café para encaminarnos a la piscina. A los 35 min de estar ahí, llegó una guagüita que recogió a todos los que iban de camino a la piscina y al llegar fue cuando la verdadera fiesta comenzó.

Mientras ponían la música yo iba preparando el dominó. Nos cambiamos y preparamos las meriendas y almuerzos en platos. Después de todo, jugamos dominó un buen rato y cuando el sol estuvo en su punto nos bañamos en la piscina. Varias de nosotras aprendimos a nadar ese mismo día y del asombro muchos nos decían: de aquí para las olimpiadas.

En la tarde bailamos, y volvimos para la piscina hasta que dio la hora de salida. Fue un día lleno de risas, canciones de feliz cumpleaños, armonía y agradecimiento. Agradecimiento por el saber valorar y apreciar a las personas que están en todo tipo de momentos, sin importar riesgos o la propia malicia que otros puedan tener. Amigas presentes que se apoyan siempre y aunque no vivan tan cerca buscan siempre el fortalecer este bello vínculo que la vida les presentó.

The root of this word is directly focused on the authenticity of the feeling, and so with that same purity, today we celebrate the birthday of one of the bravest people I have ever known in my life. My friend Evelin is an example of how far a person with purpose and unwavering will can go. Because of her dedication and unconditional love, we decided to plan her birthday well in advance so that everything would be perfect. From the beginning, we knew that the goal of the birthday party was for her to have a great time and be surrounded by the people she loves most. That's why we agreed to invite her family and friends and celebrate her birthday at the pool. Together, we planned every little detail and bought gifts for the big day.

On the day of the celebration, we got up early because Evelin lives in another town, and a friend's dad drove us there. From 8 a.m., we were full of energy and excited to surprise her. When we arrived at the small town, Evelin picked us up, and we went to her house, where we surprised her with gifts. She immediately tried everything on while calling her parents, who live in Spain, to tell them all about it. We had a snack and a delicious coffee before heading to the pool. Thirty-five minutes after we arrived, a bus came and picked up everyone who was on their way to the pool, and when we got there, the real party began.

While they played music, I set up the dominoes. We changed and prepared snacks and lunches on plates. After all that, we played dominoes for a while, and when the sun was at its peak, we went swimming in the pool. Several of us learned to swim that same day, and to our amazement, many said to us, “From here to the Olympics!”

In the afternoon, we danced and returned to the pool until it was time to leave. It was a day full of laughter, happy birthday songs, harmony, and gratitude. Gratitude for knowing how to value and appreciate the people who are there for us in all kinds of moments, regardless of the risks or the malice that others may have. Friends who are always there to support each other and, even though they don't live close by, always seek to strengthen this beautiful bond that life has given them.
