For work reasons, yesterday (Monday) I had to attend a meeting at the regional headquarters of the institution. It is not something that I like very much because it takes me two hours to get to the headquarters, however I take advantage of doing errands that I can only do in the municipality of Maracaibo, and that also brings me so many nice memories.

Before going to the office I passed by the Basilica of La Chinita, going to the center of Maracaibo is to find this Zulian icon.

In the office I had a reunion with colleagues who were going to the same thing and I had not seen for a century, hehe. I loved meeting again after years of even working together in those same offices.

After doing all the administrative paperwork I would do, mostly for vacation requests, the meeting and talking a lot with the girls, I went to the university to teach classes, my other job, I had to take advantage of the trip, hehe, but that's another topic🤭.

I had a little time before teaching the class, not to sit down and eat a pasticho, but something quick, because the class would end at 5 pm and I hadn't had lunch.

I bought some empanadas, with a soda, and an essential tartar sauce, hehe, I ate super fast, and took off again.

I spent the whole day in Maracaibo practically, but despite the heat, everything was fine. In a month I will be back in the beloved land of the sun, to continue enjoying its peculiarities, its people, its grace. We Zulians have a super beautiful land, with a heat that envelops us, a bridge over the lake that enchants, and a wonderful land that leaves those who come to visit enchanted.

Por cuestiones de trabajo, el día de ayer (Lunes) debía asistir a una reunión en la sede regional de la institución. No es algo que me guste mucho porque por la distancia tardo dos horas en llegar a la sede, sin embargo aprovecho de hacer diligencias que solo puedo realizar en el municipio Maracaibo, y que además me trae tantos recuerdos bonitos.

Antes de ir a la oficina pase por la basílica de la Chinita, ir al centro de Maracaibo es encontrarse con éste icono Zuliano.

En la oficina tuve un reencuentro con compañeras que íbamos a lo mismo y tenía un siglo sin ver, Jejeje. Me encantó volver a encontrarnos después de años que, incluso trabajamos juntas en esas mismas oficinas.

Luego de hacer todos los trámites administrativos que haría, más que todo por solicitud de vacaciones, la reunión y hablar muchísimo con las chicas, me fui a la universidad a dar clases, mi otro trabajo, tenía que aprovechar el viaje, Jejeje, pero ese es otro tema🤭.

Tenía un poquito de tiempo antes de dar la clase, no para sentarme a comer un pasticho, pero si cualquier cosa rápida, porque la clase terminaría a las 5 pm y no había almorzado.

Compré unas empanadas, con un refresco, y una salsa tártara infaltable, Jejeje, comí súper rápido, y despegue nuevamente.

Pase todo el día en Maracaibo prácticamente, Pero a pesar del calor, todo estuvo bien. En un mes nuevamente estaré en la tierra del sol amada, a seguir disfrutando de sus particularidades, de su gente, de su gracia. Los Zulianos tenemos una tierra súper hermosa, con un calor que nos envuelve, un puente sobre el lago que enamora, y una tierra maravillosa que deja encantados a los que vienen de visita.
