VERSION INGLES
Happy day, I am stopping by to share with you the activity I did with the students in the classroom on April 22nd, World Earth Day.
We started with a conversation about the ephemeris. During this moment we showed images referring to the earth and the importance of taking care of our planet.
They were presented with the materials that would be used for the elaboration of the handicraft alluding to World Earth Day, among them: glossy paper, glue, scissors, cardboard (old folders that were given a new use), and we took the opportunity to talk about recycling and the reuse of various materials.
Once the materials were presented, we moved on to the process of developing the activity, in which the students glued pieces of blue and green paper to color the parts of water and earth, ending with the placement of a happy face and a heart to represent the goodness of our planet and love for the earth.
The final result was the following:
This made the students feel happy with the handicraft they had made. It is worth mentioning that they love simple handicrafts where they can see the results in a short period of time. When the parents arrived, they proudly showed what they had done.
With this activity we were able to highlight the ephemeris, at the same time that we reinforced basic aspects and notions: in language, by conversing, asking questions, repeating words, expressing, in motor skills: we used the fine tweezers to take the pieces of paper and glue them to the drawing. The cognitive aspect by following the instructions for the realization of the handicraft, also in the emotional aspect at the time of establishing the rules, respecting the turns and working together (as a team), while promoting autonomy and valuing the work.
