Today is Thursdays for memories, and as such, I decided to share experiences I had in my working life when I lived in Lima, Peru. I worked for more than four years at a call center called MDY BPO Contact Center, where I experienced moments that, although I didn't appreciate them at the time, now that they come to mind, I treasure them much more. I would say that I went through two stages at that call center. The first was at a different location than the second, as there were three locations for the same call center in the city of Lima.
The first stage lasted a little over a year. There, I worked on a campaign called Second Level Technical Support, in which I was dedicated to providing technical solutions for the mobile networks of a major transnational telephone company. It was a place where I felt quite comfortable and made several friends. However, as happens in many aspects of life, the campaign came to an end. It was going to be migrated to another call center for logistical reasons and for the convenience of the multinational telephone company. So it was announced that we would no longer be working on that campaign, at least.
It was a hard blow, because I liked what I was doing. But since I had to keep working, they transferred me to another campaign, where I didn't even last a month before I quit. However, less than two weeks later, I was able to make the necessary arrangements to join a campaign at another location of the same call center, called Corporativo Personalizado. There, I was responsible for handling a portfolio of clients with certain requests. But before I talk about that, I wanted to tell you about this photo. It's from our farewell dinner for the campaign, since everyone was going to move on to other jobs and I had already quit. In this photo, we went to a well-known chicken restaurant chain in Lima to have some wine, eat, and talk about our past experiences and future plans.

The second photo corresponds to the Customized Corporate stage. In it, you can see that we are all dressed in red, because it was a contest between different locations of the same call center, in which different competitions and games were held to win a prize. It was a very interesting afternoon, a lot of fun, with lots of laughter, which I now treasure more than ever.

And finally, this photo also shows a farewell lunch when I finished my work on the Personalized Corporate campaign. The reason for my resignation was that I was returning to my home country, Venezuela. So I felt the need to end my time there. Here I am with my best friends from the campaign, sharing Asian food, talking about our experiences, saying goodbye, and generally having a good time.

I think that sometimes we underestimate the importance of taking photos at different moments, because, believe me, they become much more valuable later on. I have a large library of photos on my phone, which I sometimes look through and enjoy remembering very beautiful moments that I treasure greatly and would like to recall at some point. I know that in life things go in cycles, but it's good to hold on to the positive things we experience in them.

Nowadays it is much easier and more convenient to take photographs, so it is good to capture those moments and save them because they will always generate memories and nostalgia ❤️ You have done very well to take these photographs, so you can travel to Lima and remember the jobs you had there 🙏
