Why am I telling you this? I'm not really embarrassed to say these things because it just proves how important that car is to my dad and my whole family. Even with all its problems, it keeps going. This year, my dad decided to teach me how to drive, and now I have my driver's license and want to repay him somehow.

The first thing we did was buy a Bluetooth device for the radio, as it wasn't working properly and we really missed listening to music on our trips. Then my sister bought a handle for one of the doors (it had broken and we had to open it from the outside). Now I started to think, what should we look for first? The first option is to try to repair the air conditioning. We are dying of heat on every trip, especially these days. The second option is to try to replace the front windshield. It still looks sturdy, but it's uncomfortable to think that it could cause an accident in the future.

I hope I can save up enough to do one of those two things before the end of the year. My dad deserves help with fixing up the car, and when I talked to him, he mentioned that now that I know how to drive, it will be mine too. At least until we can get another one between the two of us or I get my own, but that's a goal for the future.

During class, I've posted about how I've been feeling, and I always mention how good and patient my dad has been with me. That's why I now feel confident enough to tell you about this part of the whole experience.

Realmente no me averguenza el decir estas cosas porque solamente es la prueba de lo fuerte e importante que es ese carro para mi papá y toda mi familia, aún con todo y detalles sigue adelante. Este año mi papá tomó la decisión de enseñarme a manejar y al día de hoy ya gengo mi licencia de conducir y ahora quiero de alguna manera devolverle el favor.

Lo primero que hicimos fue comprarle un aparato de Bluetooth para el radio, no funcionaba del todo bien y extrañabamos demasiado la música en los viajes, luego mi hermana compró la manija para una de las puertas (se había roto y teníamos que abrir por afuera) ahora me puse a pensar ¿Qué será mejor buscar primero? La primera opción es buscar reparar el aire acondicionado, en cada viaje nos morimos de calor sobre todo estos días y la segunda opción es buscar reemplazar el vidrio de en frente, aún se ve fuerte pero da incomodidad pensar que podría causar algún accidente en el futuro.

Espero alguno poder reunir lo suficiente para hacer alguna de esas dos cosas antes qje termine el año, mi papá se merece ayuda con la mejora del carro y hablando con él ya me mencionó que ahora que sé conducir también será mío. Al menos hasta que podamos conseguir otro entre ambos o yo uno propio, pero esa es una meta más a futuro.

Durante las clases les he subido post acerca de como me he sentido y siempre menciono lo bueno y paciente que ha sido mi papá conmigo, es por eso que ahora también siento la confianza de poder contarles esta parte de toda la experiencia.
