Hola amigos, espero que estén teniendo una linda semana. Hacía tiempo que no escribía nada, ya que estuve bastante ocupada. Ayer, en un día de rutina, decidí visitar a un amigo después de llegar del trabajo. Al principio, no estaba planeado más que ir a comer algo y quedarnos un rato hablando.
Hello friends, I hope you are having a nice week. It's been a while since I've written anything, as I've been quite busy. Yesterday, on a routine day, I decided to visit a friend after I got home from work. At first, it wasn't planned other than to grab a bite to eat and just hang out and talk for a while.
Llegué del trabajo, descansé un poco, me arreglé y fui a casa de mi amigo, a quien no veo tan seguido. Una vez allí, nos sentamos a hablar y, pasadas unas horas, llamamos a mi hermano para ver si quería unirse a nosotros e ir a comer algo. Él aceptó y llegó en su moto, ya que estaba cerca de donde estábamos.
I came home from work, rested a bit, got dressed up and went to my friend's house, who I don't see that often. Once there, we sat down to talk and, after a few hours, we called my brother to see if he wanted to join us and go for a bite to eat. He agreed and arrived on his motorcycle, as he was close to where we were.
Nos sentamos a comer unas hamburguesas y, al terminar, salimos a caminar. Se nos ocurrió ir por unas cervezas y en el camino me encontré con un Farmatodo. Farmatodo es una cadenade supermercados mixtos de Venezuela que recientemente abrió una sucursal aquí en Colombia, donde vivo actualmente. Lo curioso es que en Colombia no venden los productos típicos de Farmatodo en Venezuela. Decidí entrar al lugar porque recordé haber visto un video donde unas personas encontraron chocolate venezolano que solo se conseguía en Farmatodo, que están empezando a traer desde Venezuela. Al entrar, vi mis dos chocolates favoritos: Carre y Savoy, dulces que me encantan de mi país. Había pocos y suelen agotarse rápidamente.
We sat down to eat some hamburgers and, when we finished, we went for a walk. It occurred to us to get some beers and on the way I came across a Farmatodo. Farmatodo is a chain of mixed supermarkets from Venezuela that recently opened a branch here in Colombia, where I currently live. The funny thing is that in Colombia they do not sell the typical Farmatodo products in Venezuela. I decided to enter the place because I remembered seeing a video where some people found Venezuelan chocolate that was only available at Farmatodo, which they are starting to bring from Venezuela. Upon entering, I saw my two favorite chocolates: Carre and Savoy, sweets that I love from my country. There were only a few and they tend to sell out quickly.
Después de comprar los chocolates, llamé a dos amigos que viven cerca para que se unieran a nosotros. Pasadas unas horas, llegaron, nos tomamos una cerveza, nos reímos mucho y fue una noche muy agradable. Sin haberlo planeado, la pasamos increíble. Sin duda, los planes que surgen en el momento son los mejores. Disfruto mucho salir de la rutina y compartir con personas que quiero y que me hacen sentir paz.
After buying the chocolates, I called two friends who live nearby to join us. After a few hours, they arrived, we had a beer, laughed a lot and it was a very nice evening. Without having planned it, we had an incredible time. Without a doubt, the plans that come up in the moment are the best. I really enjoy getting out of the routine and sharing with people I love and who make me feel at peace.
