Hello there, Hivers!

It sounds ridiculous, but I have spent all the photos of sunrises taken in the course of the year. It makes sense to me since December has been a month of being sick for a reason or other. There are too many specs of dust and other things in the air and we do not seem to get out of allergies, flus, and colds.

Anyeyas, this did not prevent us from going to the beach last Sunday. The idea was testing out the tent as a way to keep our stuff safe, protecting from the sun and having a place to change the wet clothes once we were going out.

Needless to say, the test was a success. The only thing that gets a little messy from the tent is how to store it. Setting it and working on the rest of the things was quite easy. I had never been inside a tent. It can get hot quite easily, but it is a great protection from the sand that is blown by the wind and also the ball people were kicking around. It also gives you some privacy in a very public and open space.

Here are some photos of our time spent in the little vacation. We had some fried plantain as a nice snack since we only brought sweets that day.
