Today I had the wonderful opportunity to lead a workshop at the library as part of the Connecting Community and Well-being Fair, organized by the FARAMUJER Foundation and the group of artisans who work there. The workshop was called “Design and shine with your Christmas brooch” and, as the name suggests, I taught everyone how to make little Christmas crowns so they could wear them as brooches during the fair.
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Every time I share a space like this, I realize how fulfilling it is to teach something I love to do. Seeing the ladies so eager to learn, laughing, asking questions... that's priceless!

Hoy tuve la hermosa oportunidad de dictar un taller en la biblioteca, como parte de la Feria Conectando Comunidad y Bienestar, organizada por la Fundación FARAMUJER y el grupo de artesanas que hacemos vida allí. El taller se llamó “Diseña y brilla con tu broche navideño” y, como su nombre lo dice, enseñé a hacer unas coronitas navideñas para que todas pudieran usarlas como broche durante la jornada de feria.
Disfruté muchísimo la experiencia. Cada vez que comparto un espacio así, confirmo cuánto me llena enseñar algo que me encanta hacer. Ver a las señoras tan dispuestas, con ganas de aprender, riéndose, preguntando… ¡eso no tiene precio!
I would also like to thank, as always, the library staff for their hospitality. They welcome us so warmly that we feel like we belong there. And, of course, my thanks to the FARAMUJER Foundation for inviting me, once again, to share a little bit of what I know with the community.

Today, all that remains for me to say is: thank you for such a beautiful day and for allowing me to live these experiences that will remain in my heart.
También quiero agradecer, como siempre, la hospitalidad de la gente de la biblioteca. Nos reciben con tanto cariño que una se siente parte del lugar. Y, por supuesto, mi agradecimiento a la Fundación FARAMUJER por invitarme, una vez más, a compartir un pedacito de lo que sé con la comunidad.

En otra publicación, en la comunidad de manualidades, les voy a compartir, con mucho detalle, cómo se hacen estas lindas coronitas para que cualquiera pueda intentar hacer la suya desde casa. Hoy solo me queda decir: gracias por un día tan bonito y por permitirme vivir estas experiencias que se quedan guardadas en mi corazón.
