A Day at the Stadium: My Baseball Game Experience [ENG-ESP]

Hello, Hive community! Last Monday started off as a day with no plans, but everything changed when my cousin and her boyfriend invited my sister and me to a baseball game between the Cardenales and the Bravos de Margarita. We were thrilled by the idea, but there was one small problem: I had absolutely no sports-themed clothing. After much thought, I ended up wearing a Yankees shirt (because it was the closest thing I had) and, of course, I brought my bag with my Mingyu photocard. When we arrived at the stadium, we were surprised by the festive atmosphere outside. There were brand booths, food stands, and even a stage with music, making everything feel like a big celebration. We spent some time exploring before heading inside, but soon decided to find our seats, settle in, and take some photos while waiting for the game to start. Even though I don’t know much about baseball, I have to say it was quite entertaining to watch the game. The energy in the stadium was incredible, with people cheering, plays happening on the field, and vendors constantly moving through the stands with snacks. We ate so much: popcorn, cotton candy, fried plantains, and, of course, a much-needed malta drink. One of the funniest moments was interacting with the sponsoring brands. They were giving away clapping balloons, shirts, and caps. In fact, a cap fell on my back, and it took me a while to realize what it was, which led to lots of laughs. The most romantic (and exciting) moment of the night was during the kiss cam, when a couple got engaged amidst cheers and applause from everyone in the crowd. It was such a special detail that made the experience feel even more unique. Although the Cardenales lost, the experience was spectacular. From the music and the food to the thrill of the game and the little surprises that made everything so dynamic, it was an unforgettable day. And to top off the night perfectly, we couldn’t resist grabbing a delicious four-cheese pepito before heading home.

Un día en el estadio: Mi experiencia en el juego de béisbol.

Holis comunidad de Hive. El lunes pasado empezó como un día sin planes, pero todo cambió cuando mi prima y su novio nos invitaron a mi hermana y a mí al juego de béisbol entre los Cardenales y los Bravos de Margarita. La idea nos emocionó, pero había un pequeño problema: no tenía absolutamente nada de ropa con temática deportiva. Después de mucho pensar, terminé optando por una camisa de los Yankees (porque era lo más cercano que tenía) y, obviamente, llevé conmigo mi cartera con la photocard de Mingyu.. Al llegar al estadio, nos sorprendió el ambiente festivo que había afuera. Había stands de varias marcas, puestos de comida y hasta un escenario con música que hacía que todo se sintiera como una gran celebración. Nos quedamos un rato explorando antes de entrar, pero pronto decidimos buscar nuestros asientos para ubicarnos y sacarnos algunas fotos mientras esperábamos el inicio del partido. Aunque no entiendo mucho de béisbol, debo decir que fue bastante entretenido mirar el juego. La energía en el estadio era increíble, con la gente animando, las jugadas en el campo y el constante movimiento de los vendedores de snacks por las gradas. Comimos de todo: cotufas, algodón de azúcar, tostón y, por supuesto, una indispensable malta. Uno de los momentos más divertidos fue la interacción con las marcas patrocinadoras. Estaban regalando globos aplaudidores, camisas y gorras. De hecho, una gorra me cayó en la espalda y tardé en darme cuenta de qué era, lo cual fue motivo de muchas risas. El momento más romántico (y emocionante) de la noche fue cuando, durante la kiss cam, una pareja se comprometió en medio de los aplausos y ovaciones de todos los presentes. Fue un detalle súper especial que hizo que la experiencia se sintiera aún más única. Aunque los Cardenales perdieron, la experiencia fue espectacular. Desde la música y la comida, hasta la emoción del juego y los detalles que hicieron que todo se sintiera tan dinámico, fue un día inolvidable. Y para cerrar la noche con broche de oro, no podía faltar un delicioso pepito de 4 quesos antes de regresar a casa.
