Recuerdo que cuando inicie en Hive que redacte mi presentación una de las cosas que escribí era que me gustaba bailar, pero que no era buena en eso, además un genero musical que me gustaría aprender era la salsa. Ya pasó un año después de eso, me inscribí en el gimnasio y también había spinning pero aún sentía vergüenza de ir a una clase, por lo que en casa me ponía frente al espejo o veía vídeos e iba imitando los pasos, así poco a poco fui agarrando algo de soltura.
I remember when I started in Hive I wrote my presentation, one of the things I wrote was that I liked to dance, but I was not good at it, also a musical genre that I would like to learn was salsa. It was a year after that, I enrolled in the gym and there was also spinning but I still felt embarrassed to go to a class, so at home I stood in front of the mirror or watched videos and was imitating the steps, so little by little I was grabbing some fluency.
En el mes de diciembre realmente no ejercite nada, así que entre uno de los tantos propósitos para el 2025 fue tener más compromiso conmigo misma y mi salud física, en enero iba a ir con todo pero inició con los mismos malos hábitos del mes anterior y mientras me adaptaba a los horarios tanto del colegio como de mi trabajo ya fue la mitad del mes y yo todavía sin asistir hasta que me determiné. En eso viendo una de mis redes sociales me salió un anuncio que habían iniciado las clases de salsa nivel básico, de inmediato les escribí.
In the month of December I really did not exercise at all, so one of the many resolutions for 2025 was to have more commitment to myself and my physical health, in January I was going to go all out but it started with the same bad habits of the previous month and while I adapted to the schedules of both school and my work it was already half of the month and I still did not attend until I was determined. When I was looking at one of my social networks I saw an announcement that they had started salsa classes at the basic level, I immediately wrote to them.
En cuanto obtuve respuesta de los días de que se debía asistir a las clases note que el lunes me chocaba con el entrenamiento de gimnasia de mi hijo, pero en vez de poner excusas les comenté mi situación y fueron muy amables al aceptar que solo asistiera martes y miércoles, con esos dos días a la semana me daba tiempo de ir a entrenar pesas y luego salir literal corriendo a la otra clase, cuando hay ganas no existen pretextos, así que de esa manera he hecho estos días que he asistido.
As soon as I got the answer of the days that I had to attend the classes I noticed that on Monday I had to attend with my son's gymnastics training, but instead of making excuses I told them my situation and they were very kind to accept that I would only attend on Tuesday and Wednesday, with those two days a week I had time to go to weight training and then literally run to the other class, when there is desire there are no excuses, so that's how I have done these days that I have attended.
Les confieso que me he sentido genial, el bailar incrementa mi buen estado de ánimo, tengo que coordinar los movimientos, estar atenta a las instrucciones y me ha permitido socializar con otras personas. La pena aún está porque no me siento segura de lo que estoy haciendo pero no voy a dejar que el miedo me vuelva a vencer, si me equivoco pues lo sigo intentando hasta que se logre, con que me disfrute lo que hago y logre por fin bailar en las fiestas y en mi casa cuando estoy limpiando todo está bien jajaja
I confess that I have felt great, dancing increases my good mood, I have to coordinate the movements, be attentive to the instructions and has allowed me to socialize with other people. The penalty is still because I do not feel sure of what I'm doing but I will not let fear overcome me again, if I make a mistake I keep trying until I succeed, if I enjoy what I do and I finally get to dance at parties and in my house when I'm cleaning everything is fine hahaha.
No dejen de animarse de hacer algo que les gusta, no importa la edad que tengan jamás va a ser tarde para soñar, en la vida estamos en constante aprendizaje y el punto es ese precisamente "vivir" , hacerlo a plenitud porque lo único que nos llevamos son esas experiencias, no se pongan limitantes en la mente, creen lo que desean y haganlo realidad siendo constantes y disciplinados, eso sí, nunca olviden disfrutar del proceso y ser feliz.
