Hoy les continuaré contando mi experiencia en el Parque das aves, ubicado en Foz de Iguaçu, Brasil. Como les dije en el post anterior esta visita formó parte de un viaje que realicé a Foz de Iguaçu en marzo, pero aún no había tenido el tiempo de contarles toda mi experiencia.
Las aves se encontraban ubicadas en aviarios que eran una especie de jaula muy grande donde dentro tenían el hábitat especial par ellos.
El segundo aviario que encontramos (para ver el primero sólo tienen que ir a mi post anterior), tenía especies de aves de río y de manglares, disculpen la foto borrosa, pero fue un poco complicado tomar fotos en cuanto tenía que mantener a mi hija cerca. En este lugar pudimos contemplar además de aves una anaconda, boas constrictoras, caimanes y tortugas.
Today I will continue telling you about my experience at Parque das aves, located in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. As I told you in the previous post this visit was part of a trip I made to Foz do Iguaçu in March, but I had not yet had the time to tell you all about my experience.
The birds were located in aviaries that were a kind of very large cage where inside they had a special habitat for them.
The second aviary we found (to see the first one just go to my previous post), had species of river and mangrove birds, sorry for the blurry picture, but it was a little complicated to take pictures as I had to keep my daughter close. In this place we could contemplate besides birds an anaconda, boa constrictors, caimans and turtles.
En el camino aprovechamos para tomarnos unas fotos en un columpio bien lindo y en una especie de trono hecho de troncos. En las dos oportunidades fueron unos turistas argentinos que nos ayudaron con las fotos. Por ser un lugar cercano a Argentina y a Paraguay tenía varias personas de esas nacionalidades.
On the way we took the opportunity to take some pictures on a very nice swing and on a kind of throne made of logs. On both occasions there were some Argentinean tourists who helped us with the photos. Being a place close to Argentina and Paraguay there were several people of those nationalities.
En este lugar dedicado a especies de río y manglares pudimos ver unos caimanes, cuando Amanda los vio inmediatamente los identificó y comenzó a cantar una canción de caimanes que se sabe en portugués. Esto fue muy gracioso porque ella solamente los vio y comenzó a cantar y a hacer la coreografía.
In this place dedicated to river and mangrove species we could see some caimans, when Amanda saw them she immediately identified them and started singing a caiman song that she knows in Portuguese. This was very funny because she just saw them and started singing and choreographing.
Luego tuvimos la dicha de ver una arpía, es un ave impresionante, de un tamaño muy grande. Además, observamos un par de Rey Zamuros, igualmente hermosos. Después fuimos al aviario de los pericos, este consiste en una jaula inmensa que fue construida alrededor del hábitat de estos pajaritos. Al entrar ya escuchamos la algarabía de todos los pajaritos que se encontraban volando en ese momento. Grabé hasta un vídeo de esto. Simplemente maravilloso.
Then we had the joy of seeing a harpy, it is an impressive bird, of a very large size. In addition, we observed a pair of King Zamurs, equally beautiful. Then we went to the parakeet aviary, which consists of a huge cage that was built around the habitat of these birds. As we entered we could already hear all the birds flying around at that moment. I even recorded a video of it. Simply wonderful.
Después pasamos a otro aviario, este no permitía ese contacto directo que habíamos tenido en el de los pericos, esto porque las especies que se encuentran en el no son aptas para ese contacto. Mi hija se encantó con una lechuza a la que pudimos ver bien cerquita, de las aves esta fue la que más le gustó. Ella la identificó y se agachó para poder admirarla.
Then we went to another aviary, this one did not allow the direct contact that we had had in the parakeet aviary, because the species that are in it are not suitable for that contact. My daughter was delighted with an owl that we could see very close, of the birds this was the one she liked the most. She identified it and bent down to admire it.
Por último, entramos en el aviario de los guacamayos, una experiencia increíble. Era una jaula inmensa para que ellos pudieran volar tranquilamente. Vimos de todos los colores y mientras le tomábamos fotos a un guacamayo rojo con azul tuvimos la suerte de que un guacamayo azul bajara y pudiéramos apreciarlo de cerca. Quedé encantada con todo lo que vi y sin dudas volvería a ir solo que dedicando más tiempo a este parque para disfrutar más de las aves.
Finally, we entered the macaw aviary, an incredible experience. It was a huge cage for them to fly quietly. We saw all colors and while we were taking pictures of a red and blue macaw we were lucky that a blue macaw came down and we could see it up close. I was delighted with everything I saw and I would definitely go again, just spending more time in this park to enjoy more of the birds.
Cuando estábamos saliendo del parque la guía del tour ya estaba buscándonos, como les había comentado en el post anterior teníamos el tiempo contado para esta visita y al parecer nos atrasamos un poco admirando las aves. El grupo de viaje sólo nos esperaba para poder comenzar el camino de regreso.

When we were leaving the park the tour guide was already looking for us, as I had mentioned in the previous post we had the time counted for this visit and apparently we were a little late admiring the birds. The tour group was just waiting for us to start our way back.
