Espero que este fin de semana haya sido de provecho para ustedes así como siento que fue para mí. Hace tiempo quería compartirles como es uno de los supermercados aquí en la ciudad donde vivo en el Sur de Brasil. Su nombre es supermercado Roni y pertenece a una red más grande de supermercados, a la red Aliança.
Es el supermercado más grande que existe en esta pequeña ciudad y atiende perfectamente las necesidades de sus habitantes. Los super que son competencia no tienen cómo competir con los precios de este lugar.
I hope this weekend has been as helpful for you as I feel it was for me. Some time ago I wanted to share with you what one of the supermarkets is like here in the city where I live in the South of Brazil. Its name is Roni supermarket and it belongs to a larger network of supermarkets, the Aliança network.
It is the largest supermarket that exists in this small town and it serves perfectly the needs of its inhabitants. The competing supermarkets have no way to compete with the prices of this place.
Desde que llegué hacía mis compras en otro lugar, pero luego conocí este supermercado y simplemente es mi preferido a la hora de ir a comprar. Algo que es diferente de los mercados a los que estaba acostumbrada, es que ellos te llevan la compra a tu casa, claro cobrando un poco, pero igual es mucho mejor que agarrar un taxi y llevarse la compra o tener que caminar con muchísimo peso. Esto me pareció genial porque yo vivo lejos de la ciudad y para venirme caminando con peso era complicado, esto cuando no tenía carro por supuesto.
Since I arrived I did my shopping elsewhere, but then I met this supermarket and it is simply my favorite when it comes to shopping. Something that is different from the markets I was used to, is that they take the shopping to your house, of course charging a little, but it is still much better than taking a cab and take the purchase or having to walk with a lot of weight. I thought this was great because I live far away from the city and walking with weight was complicated, this when I didn't have a car of course.
En el lugar todos los trabajadores son muy amables y están dispuestos a ayudar. Ya me ha pasado de que me han cobrado algo de más y les he enviado por whatsapp y hemos resuelto la situación sin mayor problema. Ya pueden ver que mi preferencia no es sólo por precio sino que también por la atención que ofrecen.
In the place all the workers are very friendly and willing to help. It has already happened to me that I have been overcharged and I have sent them by whatsapp and we have solved the situation without any problem. You can see that my preference is not only for price but also for the attention they offer.
Visualmente el supermercado es muy parecido a los que ya conocía, está separado por secciones y todo está organizado. Tiene una carnicería adentro que tiene un olor agradable, no es como a las que estaba acostumbrada, que tienen un olor fuerte a carne.
También tiene una panadería y una pequeña parte con mesas por si quieres tomar un café y comer alguna cosa. La parte de la panadería si es diferente a las de Venezuela, porque tiene variedades de dulces que son típicos de aquí.
Visually the supermarket is very similar to the ones I already knew, it is separated by sections and everything is organized. It has a butcher shop inside that has a pleasant smell, not like the ones I was used to, which have a strong smell of meat.
It also has a bakery and a small part with tables if you want to have a coffee and eat something. The bakery is different from the ones in Venezuela, because it has a variety of sweets that are typical here.
La parte de las verduras me gusta bastante, siempre está llena de verduras frescas y lindas. Este lugar es donde paso la mayor parte del tiempo cuando voy al super. Visualmente es muy agradable.
Además de estos lugares especiales tiene uno dedicado exclusivamente a comida fitness y saludable. Ahí puedes conseguir avena, granola, productos sin gluten, sin lactosa y mucho más. Yo por lo general compro de ahí avena, granola y mantequilla de maní.
I like the vegetable part quite a lot, it is always full of fresh and nice vegetables. This place is where I spend most of my time when I go to the supermarket. Visually it is very nice.
In addition to these special places they have one dedicated exclusively to fitness and healthy food. There you can get oatmeal, granola, gluten free, lactose free and much more. I usually buy oatmeal, granola and peanut butter from there.
Esta semana fui dos veces a comprar algunas cosas, lo hago así porque aprovecho cuando hay ofertas para comprar la comida que más consumo, una excelente forma de ahorrar. A mediados de semana compré unas cositas que nos faltaban en la casa y el sábado fui a comprar muslos de pollo que estaban en excelente precio y no iba a perder esa oportunidad.
Las imágenes que les comparto fueron de varios días que fui e iba tomando fotos. Pueden ver lo lindo y agradable que es el supermercado, además de limpio y organizado.

This week I went twice to buy some things, I do it this way because I take advantage when there are sales to buy the food I consume the most, an excellent way to save. In the middle of the week I bought some things that we were missing in the house and on Saturday I went to buy chicken thighs that were at an excellent price and I was not going to miss that opportunity.
The pictures I am sharing with you are from several days that I went and I was taking pictures. You can see how nice and pleasant the supermarket is, as well as clean and organized.
