“Remote, please stop playing hide-and-seek with me! I am already sleepy and my eyes are like tiny dots. I just want to turn off the TV, not start a treasure hunt at midnight!”
Sometimes I look under the pillows. Sometimes behind the curtain. One time, I even checked inside the refrigerator because maybe it got hungry and wanted a midnight snack like me. But no it was not there. It’s like the remote laughs quietly and runs to a new hiding spot every night.

The funny thing is, when morning comes the remote magically appears again in the most silly places. Like on top of my books. Inside my blanket Or sometimes under my bed. Maybe my remote has a secret job at night. Maybe it is a superhero that saving batteries around the world or maybe it just gets bored and wants a little adventure.
If the remote could talk back, maybe it would say:
“I’m not running away! I’m just tired of being pressed all day. Midnight is my break time!”
And honestly I would understand. We all need a break, right? Even small objects need rest. But still, dear remote if you are listening, please stop disappearing! It is scary to walk around the house at 1:00 AM just to look for you. I don’t want to meet a ghost. So please, remote just stay beside me like a good little buddy.

In the end, I learned something funny:
Even the smallest things can make the biggest midnight adventures. And sometimes, it is okay to laugh at silly moments like chasing a tiny remote that acts like Dora the Explorer every night.
So, if you have a remote that disappears at midnight too maybe it just wants a break or maybe it just enjoys the thrill of hide-and-seek hehe.
Goodnight, everyone!
Sleep tightly and keep your remotes close!
I suppose the remote takes a forced break - meaning someone intentionally takes it at a particular time. But you can't blame the remote. Maybe be you should consider getting shackled to the TV remote so if it attempts to move you'd be alerted.
Yes maybe you're right hehe
Your always welcome hehe
