Para el día 21 de la lista de “Chicos Guapos y Hot de Anime / Videogames" teníamos a un elfo para dibujar: Legolas del Señor de los Anillos.
Este era mi personaje preferido al jugar el videojuego que sacaron sobre El Señor de los Anillos. Pero no era tan fácil manejarlo. Requería de mucha precisiòn para acabar con los orcos.
Me fascinaba lo ágil y rápido que era. Realmente supieron capturar esas cualidades que se podían sentir muy reales al momento de jugar.
Estuve buscando referencias del juego para hacer el boceto de hoy pero no encontré alguna que fuera buena, así que preferí usar referencias de Orlando Bloom en su interpretación. Para mí, él ha sido quien mejor ha capturado la esencia del elfo, no sólo en sus movimientos y aspecto físico sino hasta en su forma de hablar.
Ya con las referencias, empecé a hacer la interpretación en manga. Como el objetivo es practicar anatomía con los personajes, fue en lo que más me enfoqué.
Legolas es muy delgado y esbelto pero por ser un guerrero y con la agilidad que tiene, debe tener un físico donde se reflejen los músculos sin ser exagerados. Busqué de transmitir eso en la interpretación.
También cuidé la expresión. Legolas siempre parece estar en calma y sereno hasta en los momentos más difíciles y a la vez transmite las emociones que siente sin mucha exageración de gestos. Es algo retador de dibujar.
Finalmente, lo ambienté en un bosque, sólo sugerido con manchas y trazos de las brochas de aguada.

Me gustó mucho esta práctica. Creo que agregaré a Legolas a mi lista de fanarts que quiero hacer, para dibujar algo con más detalles y cuidado sobre él.

For the 21st day of the "Handsome and Hot Anime / Videogames Guys" list, we had an elf to draw: Legolas from The Lord of the Rings.
He was my favorite character when playing the video game that was released about The Lord of the Rings. But it wasn't easy to handle him. It required a lot of precision to take down the orcs.
I was fascinated by how agile and fast he was. They really managed to capture those qualities that felt very real while playing.
I was looking for game references to make today’s sketch, but I couldn’t find any good ones, so I preferred to use references of Orlando Bloom in his portrayal. For me, he has been the one who best captured the essence of the elf, not just in his movements and physical appearance but even in his way of speaking.
With the references in hand, I started to create the manga interpretation. Since the goal is to practice anatomy with the characters, that was my main focus.
Legolas is very thin and slender, but as a warrior with his agility, he must have a physique that reflects muscle without being exaggerated. I aimed to convey that in the interpretation.
I also paid attention to the expression. Legolas always seems calm and serene even in the most difficult moments and simultaneously conveys the emotions he feels without much exaggeration in his gestures. That is quite challenging to draw.
Finally, I set it in a forest, only suggested with splashes and strokes from watercolor brushes.

I really enjoyed this practice. I think I will add Legolas to my list of fanarts that I want to create, to draw something with more detail and care about him.
