What unique crafts are you taking with you in 2025?
For me this is, of course, the art of making zines! and today I wanted to share another short video behind the scenes of my booklet making practice.
From writing to designing then later formatting and printing, I am involved in each and every step of the creation of my zines and ... I wouldn't have it any other way!
And though this is a very analog type of art, I want to keep the world of zines feeling dynamic even in this modern world of digital everything. That is why I have challenged myself to create short form content about my zine making. I hope to inspire others to transform their words, art, and ideas into physical form by showing them just how simple zine making can be!
The background music is : "Seeds" by Crumb. That song and many others can be found via Crumb's bandcamp.

You're amazing, it's been many years since I've read the word "fanzine", when I used to buy little magazines about anime series that sometimes came to Venezuela imported from Mexico under the slogan "by and for fans".
But I'd never seen a fanzine made entirely by hand, the combination of modern tools to create DIY material is... it's such a refreshing twist and full of possibilities!
I feel spectacularly inspired after watching this minute of video and the music selection is so on point, please keep sharing your process and previews of your zines ; A ; I really want to see more!
