Nedda un sueño hecho realidad// Nedda a Dream come true Spa-Eng

Hola queridos amigos de hive, hoy quiero recordar el dia que cumpli uno de mis mas grandes sueños. Debutar como protagonista en una opera en la sala Rios Reyna del Teatro Teresa Carreño que es el mas importante de mi pais y para mi todo un sueño desde los 14 años que empece a estudiar canto.

Hello dear hive friends, today I want to remember the day I fulfilled one of my biggest dreams. Making my debut as a leading role in an opera in the Rios Reyna hall of the Teresa Carreño Theater, which is the most important theater in my country and a dream of mine since I was 14 years old when I started studying singing.

I Pagliacci es una opera de un acto del compositor Ruggiero Leoncavallo. Una opera verista que narra la historia de Nedda una joven huerfana que vive en un circo deambulante, adoptada por Canio desde niña y al pasar los años la convierte en su amante. Canio un hombre mayor al cual ella no ama pero por necesidad debe estar a su lado.

I Pagliacci is a one-act opera by composer Ruggiero Leoncavallo. A verismo opera that tells the story of Nedda, a young orphan who lives in a traveling circus, adopted by Canio as a child and over the years he makes her his lover. Canio is an older man whom she does not love but out of necessity must be by his side.

Pero ella solo anhela ser libre de Canio y su vida en ese circo

But she only longs to be free from Canio and his life in that circus.

Llegan a uno de los pueblos que suelen visitar para sus shows, un pueblo donde vive Silvio, el enamorado de Nedda. Ellos se conocieron,se enamoraron y llevaban un amor secreto cada vez que ella volvia al pueblo.

They arrive at one of the towns they usually visit for their shows, a town where Silvio, Nedda's boyfriend, lives. They met, fell in love and carried a secret love every time she returned to the town.

Tonio, un hombre deforme que esta enamorado en secreto de Nedda la acusa ante Canio de tener un amor secreto y este en sus Celos jura matarlo si descubre quien es...

Tonio, a deformed man who is secretly in love with Nedda, accuses her to Canio of having a secret love and Canio, in his jealousy, swears to kill him if he finds out who he is...

Comienza el show y Canio preso de sus celos no esta diferenciando la realidad de la ficcion, se desarrolla una pelea que termina con la vida de Silvio y tambien de Nedda.

The show begins and Canio, overcome by jealousy, is unable to differentiate reality from fiction. A fight develops that ends with the lives of Silvio and also Nedda.

Desde que empece a estudiar Canto uno de mis sueños fue cantar en ese teatro, en esa sala y esa Opera. Y con el pasar del tiempo ese sueño se convirtió en una meta, porque para mi los sueños solo se cumplen cuando trabajas por ellos.

Since I started studying singing, one of my dreams was to sing in that theater, in that hall and that Opera. And with the passage of time, that dream became a goal, because for me dreams only come true when you work for them.

La emocion al pisar esa Sala encarnando a Nedda fue indescriptible, al terminar la funcion fue inevitable contener mis lagrimas y pensar "Gracias". Siento que Dios premio todo mi esfuerzo y trabajo cumpliendo ese sueño.

The emotion of stepping into that room playing Nedda was indescribable. When the performance ended, I couldn't help but hold back my tears and think, "Thank you." I feel that God rewarded all my effort and work by fulfilling that dream.

Quisiera dejarles una ultima reflexion. Cuando sueñen, sueñen en grande... Y con trabajo dedicacion y amor quizas el dia que menos lo esperas se te cumplen esos sueños.

I would like to leave you with one last thought. When you dream, dream big... And with work, dedication and love, perhaps one day when you least expect it, those dreams will come true.
