My Mom

These photographs are from 1989. I may not remember the exact moment they were taken, but I do remember all the love I received when I was just a baby, and that's because my mom has never let me forget it... Now we go long periods without seeing each other, but when we get together and hug, I feel that same warmth and texture from my earliest memories with her. I know that not everyone has a special connection with their mothers, but I can assure you that this is not the case for me. I look at the photos and realize that I was an ugly baby 😅, but I was probably the most loved baby of all.

Estas fotografías son de 1989. Puede ser que no recuerde el momento exacto en que fueron tomadas, pero sí recuerdo todo el amor que recibía cuando solo era un bebé, y eso se debe a que mi mamá nunca ha permitido que pueda olvidarlo... Ahora pasamos largas temporadas sin vernos, pero al juntarnos y abrazarnos se siente ese mismo calor y texturas de mis primeros recuerdos junto a ella. Sé que no todos tienen una conexión especial con sus madres, pero puedo asegurar que no es mi caso, yo veo las fotos y me doy cuenta que era un bebé feo 😅 pero posiblemente era el bebé más amado de todos.

My childhood left a lasting impression on me, and my parents gave me all the love in the world. This is what has defined my personality over the years, even helping me understand that the world is not a bed of roses, but that doesn't matter. I like to have a positive attitude when dealing with difficult people; that's who I am. Today, only my mom is left, and life has not been easy for her since my dad passed away. So, I love looking at these photos where she lifted me up so easily, no matter how heavy I was. She would not let me fall in any way that people fall, and it is difficult for me to ignore that. It comes naturally to me to want to be her hero now that she is entering a more vulnerable stage of her life. The love between them remains intact and is more mature ❤️

Mi infancia me marcó para siempre, y mis padres me dieron todo el amor del mundo, esto es lo que ha definido mi personalidad con el paso de los años, incluso lo que me hizo entender que el mundo no era un lugar color de rosas, pero no importa, me gusta tener una actitud positiva al enfrentar personas difíciles, esa es mi ecencia. Hoy solo queda mi mamá, y vaya que la vida no ha sido fácil para ella desde que papá se fue, así que me encanta ver estas fotografías donde ella me levantaba con tanta facilidad, por más pesado que fuera, ella no me iba a dejar caer en ninguno de los sentidos que las personas caen, y para mí es difícl ignorar eso, me sale natural el querer ser su héroe ahora que ella comienza una etapa más vulnerable. El amor entre ambos sigue intacto y es más maduro ❤️
