Last week I managed to crash my drone under a bridge over a canal. Oops nothing to do with the 3 pubs I’d visited earlier with @scubahead.
So a bit like riding a bike when you fall off you get back on so a new drone was ordered. I did think about holding out for the DJI Mini 3 but I didn’t really want to wait another month as I'm off to Egypt in a few weeks.
So the new DJI Mini2 arrived along with a pile of small upgrades that I had on the last one.
First of all, it’s the Master Airscrew props and motor covers.
I’ve gone for orange props this time. Next, it’s the high-vis orange skin to make the small drone a bit easier to spot.
The guy that supplies them does a wonderful job they are all very accurately pre-cut
With excellent instructions
And once fitted a blow-over with a heat gun or hairdryer activates the glue and shrinks them a bit for a good fit.
Lastly, it's a set of operator number details to keep things legal.
And a quick check to make sure its all still under the 250G limit

Nice to see you got the new wings. I like the skin, but haven't tried one on mine yet. Just the plain out of the box for me so far. I have been tempted for the master airscrew props though. All I've seen are good posts on them, and the quieter sound would be helpful for the wildlife sneaking I want to do.
I can recommend the Master Airscrew props the quality is great and they do drop the sound a few decibels. The main reason for the skin is to help with seeing the small drone. If DJI did brighter colours I'd have got something more visible
The decals look great! Glad you managed to get back up and continuing your drone journey :)
Thanks for that if your in the uk i can recommend the the guy that makes them there are loads of options for Colours including carbon skins im very impressed with the quality
