Introduction
Our community of authors continues to demonstrate exceptional commitment to producing high-quality content. In this third edition of our specialized section, we celebrate the growth of our subscriber base, which has reached 819 members. This milestone reflects the enriched, significant discussions and analysis that take place within our community.
Initiatives
Before presenting this week’s highlighted content, we want to remind you of two available participation proposals. The first is a series of monthly themes designed to foster interaction and creativity in a flexible manner. This initiative offers an open framework where participants can address the proposed topics in the order they prefer, without the obligation to cover all the points. The main goal is to stimulate individual and autonomous participation, valuing the diversity of approaches and perspectives.
INITIATIVE: A theme for every day (October 2024))
The second proposal, more specific in nature, urges the community to reflect on language and how it relates to our world and the interpretation we make of our circumstances.
INITIATIVE: The power of words

Is everything what it seems on the nets? | by @enmagabriela |
Miley Cyrus leaves us a reflection on the music industry | by @globalcurrencies |
Let's talk a little about each article:
- Ocaso de la verdad | The decline of truth
On truth, as a collective construction or a social pact. @irvinc shares with us the distance between the need for an orderly and structured truth, coming from the ancient Greeks, and the relativism of today, in which the dividing lines between what is true and what is not are more flexible and blurred. This publication opens an interesting debate that invites us to think about ethical, legal, political and social issues.
- Is everything what it seems in the networks?
Social media can be an important source of human interconnection, but also a space we use to compare ourselves and measure our real lives against what others choose to share in their virtual lives. @enmagabriela's post invites us to focus our energy on our own growth, and reminds us that perfect lives do not exist and that what is shown on social media will not always be true.
- Miley Cyrus leaves us a reflection on the music industry
A reflection on how idealized the art and entertainment industry is, and how these artists (flesh and blood people) are treated as machines to generate a show, regardless of their physical and mental state. “The Show must go on” is what is often thought in those moments, however, it's about people, not just products, and it's something extremely important to reflect on nowadays, when more spaces are opening up to discuss mental health. Globalcurrencies raises some questions for us in this regard.
Recent news
Among the most relevant news we would like to share the most recent update on the new “Battles of Lions” model Battles & Wars V2 - ESP in which we hope to participate, as it aligns perfectly with our growth plan.
The first week of the challenge is over and we are happy to see how our performance as a community has been, and we hope it will increase every week with the support of the whole community. Only together, we will make humanitas the best place on web3 for digital humanities.
Here you can see the results of each of the communities that are participating in the battle:
