IV Jornada de Filosofía 2025 DEHA-UCLA
A modo de preámbulo:
Hoy 20 de noviembre celebramos el día mundial de la filosofía, pues como se ha convertido en costumbre el tercer jueves de noviembre desde el 2005 se conmemora el día mundial de la filosofía. Día en el que se busca no sólo reivindicar el valor duradero y atemporal de la filosofía, sino que busca promover el desarrollo del pensamiento humano en todas las culturas. Nosotros como proyecto que se centra en las humanidades en entornos digitales, especialmente en Web3 por medio de la blockchain de Hive nos hemos puesto la misión en promover de manera continua el pensamiento humano. Lo que nos llevó a apoyar desde el 2022 las jornadas de filosofía en la Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado en la ciudad de Barquisimeto-Venezuela.

Today, November 20, we celebrate World Philosophy Day, which has been commemorated on the third Thursday of November since 2005. This day seeks not only to vindicate the enduring and timeless value of philosophy, but also to promote the development of human thought in all cultures. As a project focused on the humanities in digital environments, especially in Web3 through the Hive blockchain, we have made it our mission to continuously promote human thought. This led us to support, since 2022, the philosophy conferences at the Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado in the city of Barquisimeto, Venezuela.
El quid de la cuestión
Por allá en el 2022 recibimos la invitación del profesor Freddy Suarez que como profesor del Decanato de Humanidades y Artes (DEHA) notó la importancia de la no existencia de espacios que promovieran el pensamiento filosófico, precisamente en el decanato de humanidades de la universidad más grande de la región. Por lo que convocó a profesionales y expertos en la filosofía, por ello nos sentimos profundamente agradecidos y honrados por haber sido invitados a participar en calidad de ponentes. En esa primera jornada, la decana Arq. Gisela Bosán, designó un primer comité para el proyecto de filosofía en la universidad y desde ese momento Hive se ha hecho presente para el logro del mismo.
The crux of the matter
Back in 2022, we received an invitation from Professor Freddy Suarez, who, as a professor in the Dean's Office of Humanities and Arts (DEHA), noticed the importance of the lack of spaces that promoted philosophical thinking, precisely in the dean's office of humanities at the largest university in the region. He therefore called on professionals and experts in philosophy, and we are deeply grateful and honored to have been invited to participate as speakers. On that first day, Dean Gisela Bosán appointed an initial committee for the philosophy project at the university, and since then, Hive has been present to help achieve this goal.

En la segunda edición en el año 2023 donde tuvimos apoyo de valueplan y se contó con un numeroso panel de expertos, haciendo de la jornada muy interesante.

Tercera Jornada de filosofía:
La tercera jornada fue demasiado interesante no solo por la calidad de las ponencias, sino porque se expuso de manera pública el proyecto de filosofía en el cual se había estado trabajando, se mostró el pensum y se defendió frente a las autoridades universitarias.

Third Philosophy Conference:
The third conference was extremely interesting, not only because of the quality of the presentations, but also because the philosophy project that had been worked on was publicly presented, the curriculum was shown, and it was defended before the university authorities.
Impacto social:
En este apartado queremos exponer dos aspectos que nos parecen superlativamente importante, por un lado el apoyo que hemos brindado en las jornadas de filosofía y la presencia que parte del equipo ha tenido dentro del proyecto de la carrera de filosofía en la universidad, que vale mencionar que ya la universidad ha cumplido con todo lo necesario para integrar y ofrecer una nueva carrera en la universidad, ya que como decanato de humanidades no contaba con una carrera en pregrado de filosofía, cosa que pronto esperamos se apruebe por parte del ministerio.
Tenemos entendido que en el programa de esta nueva carrera en el DEHA se ha introducido una asignatura a modo de electiva sobre la filosofía de blockchain, y en uno de los puntos a cursar en la asignatura será conocer Hive a modo de acercamiento a una blockchain pionera en la filosofía web3.
Y no menos importante, lo segundo que nos gustaría exponer es precisamente la mención y espacio en la revista científica del decanato, donde se dedicó un artículo sobre Hive y este proyecto de humanidades en entornos digitales.
Social impact:
In this section, we would like to highlight two aspects that we consider to be extremely important. on the one hand, the support we have provided in the philosophy conferences and the presence that part of the team has had within the philosophy degree project at the university. It is worth mentioning that the university has already fulfilled all the necessary requirements to integrate and offer a new degree at the university, since, as the dean of humanities, it did not have an undergraduate degree in philosophy, which we hope will soon be approved by the ministry.
We understand that an elective course on the philosophy of blockchain has been introduced into the program for this new degree at DEHA, and one of the topics to be covered in the course will be learning about Hive as an introduction to a pioneering blockchain in web3 philosophy.
Last but not least, the second thing we would like to mention is the mention and space in the dean's scientific journal, where an article was dedicated to Hive and this humanities project in digital environments.

Queremos anunciar oficialmente que la próxima IV Jornada de filosofía, se hará el 4 de diciembre en las instalaciones del decanato de Humanidades y Artes como ha sido una tradición, a diferencia de las pasadas ediciones, esta, por diversas actividades se ha movido un poco de la fecha y este año se realizará el próximo jueves 4 de diciembre.
Esta jornada no solo promueve el pensamiento crítico y motiva a la reflexión filosófica sino que además se ha convertido en un hito en el área de las humanidades en la región siendo un el escenario para hablar sobre la filosofía de Hive, es decir, filosofía de Web3. No menos importante, como proyecto estamos a disposición de poder contribuir en la medida de lo posible para que estos entornos colaborativos y otras actividades sean un factor de transformación e innovación. En ese sentido, nuestro co-fundador @jesusalejos ha sido parte del comité del proyecto de filosofía en la universidad.
Congratulations! We are pleased to officially announce that the upcoming IV Philosophy Conference will be held on December 4 at the Humanities and Arts Dean's Office, as has been the tradition. Unlike previous editions, this year's conference has been moved slightly due to various activities and will take place on Thursday, December 4.
This conference not only promotes critical thinking and encourages philosophical reflection, but has also become a milestone in the field of humanities in the region, providing a platform for discussing Hive philosophy, i.e., Web3 philosophy. About the Fourth Philosophy Conference
Como en las pasadas ocasiones se realizará en el Cuartel Jacinto Lara, edificio que otrora fue cuartel militar, pero que hoy ha sido cedido a la universidad para que en dichas instalaciones funcione el Decanato Experimental de Humanidades y Artes (DEHA). Comenzará a las 9 A. M. el próximo 4 de Diciembre, en el Aula n°9. hasta las 12:30 P. M.
As on previous occasions, it will be held at the Jacinto Lara Barracks, a building that was once a military barracks but has now been handed over to the university to house the Experimental Dean's Office of Humanities and Arts (DEHA). Ya hemos comenzado la campaña publicitaria para esta jornada, en la que esperamos una mayor asistencia que en las pasadas ediciones, ya que año tras año aumenta la participación de estudiantes, docentes y público en general. Desde este rincón de la web3 gracias a Hive hemos podido aportar en la construcción de bases sólidas para el desarrollo de pensamiento filosófico en la universidad más grande de la ciudad, además demostrando que en el mundo digital, específicamente en el ecosistema blockchain no solo está basado en ideas filosóficas sino que la filosofía es su aliada nro 1 en la edificación de un futuro disruptivo y descentralizado.
En los próximos días estaremos compartiendo más detalles de la IV jornada de filosofía, nuevamente gracias a la comunidad de Hive, a través de valueplan que año tras año han apoyado esta iniciativa universitaria en torno a la filosofía.
