Becoming a professional gambler isn’t that difficult
Fewer than 10% of gamblers are profitable. Fewer than 0.5% are full time profitable gamblers. Also many who were full time at one point don't stick with it, lose edge or external changes fuck it up for them, regulation, changes in taxation, being banned from online sportsbooks, poker's black Friday etc etc.
I think being a professional gambler is one of the most stressful jobs and I don't think it is easy. One of the only jobs where you can do your best with a long term edge and still come away from a month or a year with a negative income.
Can you explain how being a successful profitable full time gambler is easy?
