I managed to glitch out a priest robot before focused on Rockets plan to blow the batteries. We defended the position against waves of enemies until the charge was set. After a desperate slide and a brief drift through space, we safely boarded the Milano and made our escape.

This Priest Robot thought he was going to have an easy entrance, but I completely played him. By blocking the landing zone right under his ride, he ended up glitching out and dying before he could even touch the floor. One less headache to deal with.

With the Priest gone, the focus shifted to the batteries. You can see the energy sparking everywhere as Rocket starts pushing the system to its limit. We needed this whole section of the ship to go up in flames, and he was definitely making it happen.
The rest of us had to buy Rocket some time. In this shot, I was holding the line while the batteries glow brighter in the background. The heat was picking up, and the enemies just kept pouring in from the side corridors.

Things were getting messy here. We were right in the thick of it when Rocket finally signaled that the charge was set. You can see the explosion starting to brew, it was the "go time" we were waiting for.

We didn't wait around to say goodbye. As soon as that signal hit, we bolted. Of course, the ship's security, including those annoying robot beasts, wasn't about to let us walk out the front door.

We hit this platform and realized we were out of floor. It was a literal dead end with a massive drop-off. Behind us, the ship was melting down; in front of us, just a long way down.

No time for a plan B, so we just took the leap. Sliding down this massive, fleshy-looking conduit was the only way out. It felt less like a tactical retreat and more like a controlled fall.
We went flying through the exit hatch just as everything behind us started to give way. It wasn't pretty, but we were alive, till then.

Things went south fast. The Guardians finally found an exit, but definitely not the one they wanted. Without the Milano, they were tossed straight into the vacuum of space. You can see them drifting here, literally seconds away from becoming frozen statues in the dark.

Just when it looked like game over, they got sucked back into a docking bay, and luckily, it was their own ship. It's a total "breath of relief" moment.

With everyone safe inside, we punched it. This shot shows the Milano finally pulling away, leaving that massive enemy ship in the dust.
I'll show what happens next later.
I personally took all the screenshots from my play and I used a logo of the game from online to use in the thumbnail.
This is Pikachuuuuu signing off. Over and out.
Getting tossed into the vacuum of space is such a classic "oh no" moment. I'm glad the Milano was there to scoop everyone up. Great job capturing these moments.
I'm honestly just impressed Rocket didn't blow the ship up while you were still standing next to the batteries, HAHAHA. The Milano looks so good flying away from that mess.
