The Last Relic Discovered: Lantern.

The last relic was a Lantern and it was found in the Lantern Cave. I had to fight a big monster who was holding the relic and then I had to use all the relics to free Taro. I won't talk about what happened when I went to free Taro in this post.

I had to slide down to the cave as the entrance was in that way and I found a lot of lanterns around but the relic was not among them. This place was giving me a creepy feel for its dark environment and the BGM.

I had to open a gate there where this giant monster was guarding this area. This boss is called "Shrine Guardian" and it looked like a live tree that was coming to take me down. It was not alone though, there came some tiny monsters to fight alongside this big one as they were not doing good alone against me.

I was thinking of taking down the regular enemies first so they won't disturb me when I'll deal with the big one but the more I was taking down, the more of them were showing up and the Shrine Guardian kept attacking me also where I could dodge some but I couldn't do that to all the attacks.

I noticed the Shrine Guardian had some lights on its body and they were its weak point that reduces good portion of its life so I started shooting them with arrows. The boss had power to grow plants from one side to another and hurt me. It was reminding of Groot.

The boss fell down at last after around 3:30 minutes of fight. When its body collapsed, a lantern that it was using as its necklace locket came highlighted and the mask of Taro started lighting.

The light from the lantern jumped into the mask and yes, I just found the last relic that I'd need to free Taro or his spirit.

Now I had to get out of the cave and free Taro but I had to get to a place to do that. It looked like Taro's spirit was trying to show me where I'd have to go next after coming out of the cave.

Taro's memory took me to this lamp post that was not on the right spot so I used the rots to place it on its spot and then I got to shoot and connect some lightings now.

I had to do it in the given time as they'd get reset if I'd waste time which I was doing for some times so I had to try it for several times as I was not sure about what to do there.

But I did it right after trying for several times and the darkness faded away after that. Rusu came over and suggested me to bring the relics to the Fallen Tree as its to help Taro finding his peace.

I had to get back to the Forgotten Forest and use the same path to get back to the Fallen Tree and when I did, I found the kids waiting there, so did Rusu.

When I set foot on those symbols before after finding the first relic, one symbol got light and now the whole got it. I had to interact there so Kena could do the rest to free Taro but we'll learn what happened later in my next post.
