A Bounty Ends in Space.

The battle with the Lethal Legion turned into a full-scale space dogfight, forcing me to master the Milano under heavy fire. After dismantling Captain Glory's fleet and destroying his flagship, the Guardians finally set course for Xandar, hoping the Nova Corps could help stop the Church.

I didn't think I'd get a chance to try a space battle like this in this game, but the fight with the Lethal Legion proved me wrong. The action started immediately, and I found myself staring down a massive fleet of enemy ships. It was an intense change of pace from our usual ground missions.

After taking a few hits, I started shooting back with everything the Milano had. I had to blast through more than half a dozen enemy spaceships. It wasn't easy controlling the ship while simultaneously dodging their incoming fire and lining up my own shots, but I managed to hold my own.

Once I had finished destroying Captain Glory's troops, the man himself decided to show up in his special, heavy-duty spaceship. I wasn't scared at all; instead, I throttled up and sped directly toward his vessel, ready to end the bounty hunt once and for all.

The enemy ship was firing a powerful fire beam that was absolutely lethal, so I had to stay focused to dodge it. I focused on getting in close, weaving around his fire to target and destroy the major components of his ship, slowly stripping away his defenses.

When I gained the upper hand, Captain Glory realized my potential and tried to shake me off. He would vanish and reappear, leaving clusters of explosives in my path while attacking from a distance. I made sure to disappoint him by navigating through the mines and keeping my sights locked on him.

He disappeared and tried the same explosive tactic multiple times, but I had the patience to keep following him wherever he warped. At last, I caught him in a vulnerable position and managed to destroy his ship completely, ending the threat of the Lethal Legion.

After taking care of the bounty hunters, the Guardians set a course for Xandar, as they followed Cosmo's suggestion to seek out the Worldmind, hoping that the collective intelligence of the Nova Corps could help them stop the Church.

The Guardians reached New Xandar, the Nova Corps headquarters in the Andromeda galaxy. The sight was overwhelming; Gamora mentioned she hadn't seen this many ships in one place since the start of the Galactic War. Sensing something was wrong, Peter asked Groot to open a channel to see what was actually going on down there.
