I traveled deep into the desert, unlocking fast travel points and performing a leap of faith near a palace I once tried to infiltrate. Along the way, I cleared a bandit camp to rescue a prisoner, only to be attacked by an ungrateful captive. Finally, I reached the town of Soknopaiou Nesos.

After the Festival of Apis happened, I set my sights on a new destination. I began my journey by traveling into the isolated desert area. The golden dunes stretched out as far as the eye could see, marking the beginning of a long trek toward my next primary objective.

Eventually, I stumbled upon a unique point of interest that stood out from the usual ruins. I took a moment to climb to the top and synchronize with the area, which was a huge relief as it unlocked a much-needed fast travel point for future trips.

I decided to perform a Leap of Faith from the high point, and Bayek looked incredibly cool mid-air. In the background of the shot, you can clearly see the palace that I had previously tried, and failed to infiltrate. It was a nice perspective on how far I had traveled since that difficult mission.

While pushing toward the next mission marker, I came across a bandit camp in the desert. I originally planned to ride right past them to save time, but then I noticed they were holding a prisoner.
I couldn't just leave someone to suffer, so I drew my sword and engaged the bandits to clear the camp.

Once the fighting was over, I walked over to the cages to release the captive. The prisoner was there, and it looked like one of the bandits had ended up locked in the same cage.

I opened the cage to let everyone out. The second the bandit stepped out of the cage, he pulled a weapon and started attacking mw. I had to react quickly and take him down, proving that some people just aren't worth the trouble of saving.

Continuing my journey along the river's edge, I discovered a new location called Soknopaiou Nesos. It's a striking town right where the desert meets the water, providing a beautiful contrast between the dry sand and the lush riverbank.

I found another synchronization point at the very top of a massive statue overlooking the settlement. From that height, I had a perfect view of the entire town and the winding river below. It gave me a sense of the scale of this region.

I made a final jump off the statue, carefully timing the shot so the massive stone figure stayed in the frame.. Now that the area is mapped out, I need to focus on my main goal: finding and meeting Hotephres, the Faiyum informant, to see what news he has for me.
I'll show more of my photographic journey of the games soon, so stay tuned to my blog if you liked them.

The screenshots are taken by me personally from my gameplay and I borrowed the game's logo from DevianArt.
You showed the contrast between sand and river beautifully. Leap of faith in AC never stops looking cool.
Thanks for stopping by.
