Chaos at the Military Camp || AC Origins

in Gaming Photography3 days ago

I returned to the camp and tried the mounted bow again but was quickly overwhelmed. After resetting, I turned the tide by trapping the brazier, creating chaos, and using water and patience to control the fight. Multiple failed approaches eventually led me to a near-assassination of the captain, forcing a narrow escape.

Upon returning, I tried to use the mounted bow to thin out the enemy numbers. Unfortunately, they were ready for me this time; they focused their fire and managed to take me down before I could do much damage.

At the reset, I trapped the brazier first. A massive explosion soon rocked the camp, sending the enemies into a panic as they scrambled to find the culprit. I used the chaos to perform a leap of faith, closing the distance between me and the targets while they were still distracted.

I gave the mounted gun another shot, picking off an enemy while several of his comrades were resting nearby.

However, I quickly realized this was going to be an uneven battle if I stayed put, as the entire camp began to converge on my location, so I dove into the water to lose my pursuers. I spent some time diving deep underwater to stay hidden while the enemies searched the shoreline for me.

I sent Senu into the sky to scout the area from above. From her perspective, I could see the wreckage of the brazier had just destroyed as an enemy tried to lit it up.

I switched back to Bayek and found him still submerged, patiently waiting for the heat to die down. It was a calm moment of silence before returning to the hunt.

While still in the water, I noticed a massive ship looming above me. I decided to climb up the hull to see what was on deck, only to find it was swarmed with enemies. Realizing I'd be surrounded in seconds, I quickly jumped back off and swam toward the camp.

Back at the camp, I managed to get behind the mounted bow again. This time, I was successful, using the heavy bolts to take down a particularly tough enemy who had been giving me trouble earlier.

I set my sights on the captain, who was resting inside a cabin on a large boat. I sneaked onto the vessel, moving through the shadows until I was right outside his quarters, ready to end the command chain once and for all.

I moved in for the assassination, but the captain was a trained warrior. He managed to dodge my blade and counter-attacked immediately, realizing I was a serious threat. Knowing I couldn't win a head-on fight against him in such a cramped space, I made a quick escape, diving back into the safety of the water.

The captain was clearly furious about the attempt on his life, as he immediately sent a group of his soldiers to scour the area for me. I stayed submerged, watching their shadows pace along the docks above, making sure I didn't surface until I was certain they couldn't detect me.

I'll show more of my photographic journey of the games soon, so stay tuned to my blog if you liked them.

The screenshots are taken by me personally from my gameplay and I borrowed the game's logo from DevianArt.

It is interesting how you focused on the quiet moments, like submerging and waiting. It builds so much more atmosphere than just constant fighting.

Great job highlighting Senu's role. That photo you took from Senu's eye look cool. I sometimes try such views with Enkidu's eye in Mirage. And I can totally understand your strategy as I'm also going through a AC story right now.
