Fallen Before the Fortress || AC Origins

I navigated a canal filled with obstacles and a dangerous crocodile to infiltrate the fortress. After being detected once, I used a stealthier route to shadow my target and deliver a precise strike. However, during a final pursuit, the bodyguards turned to fight, and I was eventually overwhelmed.

There was this canal that I had to pass to get to the fortress where my target hid. Fortunately, there were some floating obstacles on the water that I could use to pass it.

After climbing the wall of the fortress, from where I decided to jump on my target, I was targeted by a soldier there. My targets detected me as well, shouting for reinforcements. I jumped off the tower to get away, diving into the shadows below to reset.

While I was getting back to the other side of the canal to regroup, I noticed there was this big crocodile swimming on that water. I realized the water was just as dangerous as the soldiers patrolling the ramparts above.

I went back to the fortress and this time I climbed up the wall in a way so the guards who saw me earlier wouldn't see me. I noticed my target was getting back to his vulnerable spots, taking his bodyguards along as they resumed their nervous patrol.

I started following them closely through the inner courtyard. I was keeping a safe distance from them so they wouldn't run or strike at me.

This time I was going ahead of them so I could wait for the right moment to jump on my target from a high ledge. I did it just perfectly, jumped on my target while his guards scrambled to react.

I bet my target was getting confused as he was not finding any spot where I was not hunting him. Everywhere he turned, I was there in the shadows.

When my target was running back to the fortress taking his bodyguards, I was chasing them down. Suddenly his bodyguards stopped to block my path. I was hitting them and then backing off quickly, trying to create an opening while avoiding their heavy counters.

Only one of them was left as the other went back to his master. The one that stayed started shooting me with arrows from a distance. After blocking the arrows with my shield, I went close to him and started attacking him.

But then another one from the fortress joined the fight. I was not scared and I kept fighting them with everything I had. However, the two of them were strong enough to finally take me down, as my health was too low to survive their combined power.
