My battle against a Ripper Camp.

On my journey in days gone, I've cleared several ambush camps but I never thought there'd be a camp of Rippers and they'd try to ambush me on my journey. This post is about me trying to clear that ripper camp.

I was riding my bike towards Sarah's memorial to give her a last visit but I got a sniper shot on my way and I fell there. Then I noticed these rippers came and tried to take me down.

It was really hard fighting them using the axe when both of them kept attacking me with their weapons and I even had to heal twice in this fight against only two rippers.

Then I found the sniper who was up on a tree and was still looking for me using the sniper rifle. I went to the other side of this rock to take him down when he was busy looking for me in this side and I took him down using my sniper rifle.

Then I left this place to visit Sarah's memorial as I didn't see anyone else there.

But when I was returning through the same road at night, I noticed a torch in there so I stopped there and I was now aware of the rippers camp there.

I didn't wish to fight them up front as they seems stronger than normal peoples so I tried the quiet way and found this zombie on my way so I had to take her down.

Getting close to the camp's fence, I was checking on the camp using the photo mode when I was hiding there somewhere and I noticed a good numbers of rippers there.

I waited and took out that guard of the gate first and I noticed this inhumane way of them killing someone.

Getting inside there, I was about to hunt down another ripper but at that very moment, a zombie cam inside as there was no one guarding the door and it saw me so I had to take him down first.

That ripper came to this side hearing sounds of me taking the zombie down but I hid in the grasses there before he came and I took him down quietly.

Then I noticed some zombies were coming inside the camp and started killing the rippers when the rippers didn't even think it'd happen to them. The zombies were actually doing my work.

Noticing this mic, I disassembled it first as its risky to have them active and I disassembled three more from this rooftop and from another rooftop.

Standing on that rooftop, I was checking if there were any ripper left alive and I didn't see any movement.

I noticed all the rippers were taken down by those zombies already whom I was fearing all this moment but now I'm a little confused about the infection concept of this game as these rippers were not turning into zombies.

I found this flammable box there which I burned down to see if it attracts any zombie and I did it with couple more flammable boxes but no one came.

These peoples were probably hunted by the rippers here as they doesn't look like hunted by zombies.

I found this half body of a Nero worker and I though I'd get some hint from it but no, Deacon just looted this half body as well. And I forgot to say that this was a Nero camp before.

As I already worked on another Nero camp before, I knew I had to make that generator work after refueling it and I did that with pleasure.

But there was an active mic left that started talking loudly after I started the generator and bunch of zombies kept coming towards the mic and almost got me. I somehow managed to hid myself.

Then I went inside this house when the zombies were busy with the mic sound and there I found a Nero syringe which gave Deacon +25 bonus health potions.

And I slept inside till dawn.

Getting out of the room at dawn, I thought the zombies were gone as the camp looked empty but when I was looking from a rooftop, a lot of them started coming to this side and I just hid behind some sacks on the roof.

Then blasting a flammable box, I ran for life towards my bike thinking the zombies would be busy with the blast but they were coming after me for a distance and I was done with this camp.
