I Have So Much Fun Fishing Today, in No Man's Sky!

Greetings! Welcome to my gaming blog. In today's post, I want to continue my adventure in No Man's Sky Expedition 15. Yesterday, I completed Phase 1 of the expedition, so today, I continue my journey to complete Phase 2 of the expedition.

My first mission, Gone Fishing 2, was to reach the second rendezvous point. I entered the Celeste, the default name of my current starship, headed outside the Space Station, and selected Expedition Route in the Galaxy Map. But, before I was about to warp, there were a lot of Freighters with their squadron, warped into the system.

I was considering buying one of the freighters. So, I went inside one of the freighters and met Commander Andlingar. An air of weary authority clearly marks this being as the friend's captain. I offered to buy the friend. The Freigther called SS-4 Gaokaizu, which is a really cool name! I must have this friend, that's what I thought. Fortunately, it was an A-class freighter, and I had more than enough money to own it. Thank you! Owning a freighter brings several benefits, including a portable base, a very large inventory, and the ability to command fleets of frigates. I need to start searching for Squadron at Space Station.

Now I can Warp with SS-4 Gaokaizu into a new system. My first warp with SS-4 Gaokaizu, I reached the Totter-Mell System; the second was the Liskel-Han System, a system that was controlled by pirates and a source of a big chunk of money. After smugling the illegal item and selling it for profit, I rushed to the Syasthe System, where the mission Secret Fishing Spot's signal was detected.

When I arrived at the Syasthe System, my first priority was to visit the space station, just to find any valuable blueprints and upgrades for my exosuits. Actually, I almost forgot that I have a very small amount of Nanites. I need it to buy Squadrons's slots and to buy upgrades. I need a lot of it. While flying around the space, I made contact with Geologist Entity Hiromenxo and recruited the Frigate for 1,638,740 units of money. It was a combat specialist frigate.

I switched my attention to the main mission and moved to the second fishing spot II. I entered the atmosphere of Planet Odeg 29/A8, a torrid planet. I need to be extra careful on this planet because high sentinel activity was detected.

Upon landing, I discovered an ancient ruin. When I reached the upper level of the building, I saw some amazing structures built on it. I received inventory slots and nanites for the mission completion rewards.

I activated the pyramid structure, I heard echoes, and then my knowledge of the Korvax Convergenc increased.

The sunset was stunning!

I headed to the nearest water to begin my second mission, the Message in a Bottle Mission. I discovered a unique creature roaming near the water. My fishing activities begin at night. Waiting patiently was the key to fishing. Fishing while watching the night sky was really an amazing experience! There was once, I used fishing bait and completed the Taking the Bait Mission. I get Pre-Packaged Launch Auto-Charge Unit and Supreme Launch Thrusters Upgrade.

After a while, finally, a bottle landed. I got 1x Oilfin (common fish that will only rise to the surface during the night) and 2x Rockin (common fish) before I landed the bottle. Upon opening the bottle, I get the Angler's Diary, which then completes the Meesage in a Bottle Mission. I was rewarded with fishing bat recipes. Then, I released all my catch for the day and completed another mission, the Freedom of the Sea Mission, which rewards me with Exo-Skiff plans and Crystal Sulphide.

I used oilfin as bait and landed a spiny starfish (uncommon fish).

Another good catch, a Solar Roach (uncommon fish, only active during daylight hours), I landed during the storm using a dangling orb. Dangling orb is a specialist lure designed to attract diurnal fish. This bait is essential for the Sun On The Water Mission, which required catching fish that only swim during daylight.

I caught a Mud Crab!

Needlefish!

I admit it's really hard to land a diurnal fish. I've been fishing the whole day till night, but my daily fish are still not enough to complete the mission. All of sudden, while fishing through the night, I completed the Night Fishing Mission. I never knew this mission existed before! Lucky me. I get Barnacle Plans and Kelp Sac. When the sun rose and morning came, I finally caught enough fish that were only active during the day. I was rewarded with Craftable Component Plans and Supreme Radiation Protection Upgrade. Yahuu!

The next mission was the Pondskipper Mission, where I was required to deploy an Exo-Skiff. I got the Exo-Skiff blueprint from the previous mission. All I needed was enough crystal sulphide, salts, and magnetised ferrite to craft one. Mission completed, and I get Mealworms, Spicy Chum, and Bionic Lure as the completion rewards! With Exo-Skiff, now I had access to Cold Storage Inventory to store all my caught fish!

The last mission in Phase 2 was the Feed Water Mission. The objective was to catch uncommonly irradiated fish. I need to search for systems with water. I don't want to move to the space yet. So I tried all available lures that I currently have, which I get from the mission completion rewards.

So I used Bionic Lure this time. It's a specialist lure, designed to vastly improve the size and rarity, and for anglers who seek legendary fish! Now that I have Exo-Skiff, I can easily fish in deeper oceans.

My first rare, unusual fish caught using Bionic Lure, Candelabra Octopus!

After some tries, I decided to leave the planet, go back to my capital, and search for a better system. I have my fingers crossed for Eugeli System (Water). Upon arrival, I headed to a nuclear planet called Planet Awki Sigma. There was a massive ring around the planet. After landing on the planet, I set up the Exo-Skiff. I fall into the water once, my exosuit warning me about the extreme radiation level! Let's start fishing!

The storm hit the planet; I was fishing in the middle of the radioactive storm!

My first immortal flatfish! wow

The storm is now cleared...

First Geno-Prawn! Oh yeah!

Finally, the Feed Water Mission is completed! I get a Banned Hazard Protection Upgrade and Hypnotic Eye. With that, Phase 2 is complete. I get Deep-Sea Flippers customization and Deep-Sea Leggings customization.

I am so happy to be able to complete Phase 2 of Expedition 15 today. I have traveled 886 light years so far and completed 16 missions. There are many more, and I am eager to finish it all. So that's all for today. Thank you so much for your support! I wish everyone a nice day! Farewell!
