Hey Fellow Gamers.

Previously I shared how I got myself recruited as an assassin from a street thief after the assassination of the Calipha of Bagdadh city. I also shared parts of my training at the Assassin's Creed hideout. Recently I began my swordfight training and today's story begins from there.

As I was battle-ready now, I was sent on a scouting mission with someone named Nur. Before that, we needed to join a meeting to discuss our route with the others and we all met by a campfire and decided that I would go to the far south side. Since that area is hard to reach it will be perfect for my practice.

We also met some other guards on our way who informed us which side of the south area we should visit as that specific part had no guards currently and might be a place for the enemies to sneak inside.

Here is the end of the hideout and the risky part I talked about earlier. We needed to use this rope to slide to the other side of the cliff cause it would be impossible to climb down and climb up or survive a jumping fall from this height.

After reaching the other side, we saw a whole bunch of intruder soldiers who looked like they were preparing to attack the hideout in the middle of the night. Or they could be a scouting party searching for the hideout location. So, either way, we can't let them leave or live.

We were outnumbered and as far as sword-fighting goes, I was still a newbie. So, I sneak up on them from behind and assassinate as many as possible while hiding in the bush. When I was sure that I could now fight the rest and there were no more soldiers that I could assassinate, I engaged in a fight with them and killed the rest. Obviously, it would be impossible for me to kill them if Nur was not there to help me.

We found out that they were mercenaries from Baghdad city who specialized in secret attacks. So, Nur was sent to the city to investigate and meanwhile, I was training more and more to enhance my skills. All that happened in cinematic mode. So, I did not take pictures of every moment but some of them were unskippable and I'm attaching them anyway.

After the cinematic scene was done, I found myself in this place and decided to take some shots from there as it was a high ground and the view was beautiful from there.

When I got back to the camp, there was a big ceremony and I was officially ranked as an Assassin. Before this time, I tried a lot to enter this secret cave but failed every time and now that I'm an official, I can access this layer anytime and this is the place where the big ceremony happened. There were a lot of cinematic scenes but they all had other objects like subtitles, logos, instructions and other UI stuff and that is why I decided not to take screenshots of those scenes.

After the ceremony, Nur reached the hideout and he was badly injured. According to him, it was the Order aka the masked men that did this. It was clear that they were planning something big and that is why they killed the Creed's scouts in the city. Gladly Nur survived to deliver this message. We decided to travel to the city ourselves. The journey happened in cinematic scenes and I already shared some of these scenes in the 1 year anniversary contest so I'm skipping those too.

I captured these photos when I reached the border of Baghdad city. You can see the city far ahead.
