Greetings, dear brothers and sisters, I've been a little absent from my posts lately due to work I've had to do in my new home, which has meant neglecting my usual daily posts. However, I've kept up with some of the posts from other authors I follow.
Today I continue with another part of the story of my adventures in the world of Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Previously, I had recruited the Merciless Horn, or at least that's what this minotaur calls himself, or as they're usually called in the game, the Qunari—huge creatures with truly impressive strength, beastmen who aren't afraid to be on the front lines, wreaking havoc in a combat zone. His strength and specialization in melee attacks have made him a very important factor in the battle, so I didn't hesitate to recruit him.
Now that I have some experience in Skyhold, I can practice or train to obtain a subclass in my vocation as a mage, whether necromancer, mystic soldier, or breach mage. So I have to make a decision and gather a series of precautions to be able to specialize in the art of one of those three magics.
So we head to the exalted paths where a great war once took place, and where now only corpses and undead remain, so I must find a way to gather the requirements they ask of me in order to acquire a subclass that is an improvement on the one I chose as a mage.
As I ventured deeper into the exalted paths, I discovered some enormous statues that left me mesmerized for a while. Each statue represents a belief and a hope for humanity. As an elf, I don't fully understand these beliefs, but these statues alone captivated me.
I also found some enormous walls, now completely ruined, which leads me to believe that a deadly battle took place there in the past. Despite the years, a war still rages, this time against demons and the undead.
I looked toward the camp and saw that the place looked beautiful. I continued on my way and proceeded to face the first opponents, as I need to find a creature that drops a special item to further my specialization or improvement as a mage.
The enemies I anticipate facing in this area are only humans and demons, individuals whose uniforms are rather strange; they don't appear to be armor but rather thin cloth, which makes them somewhat weak and unable to withstand the beating I'll be giving them for a while.
After killing them, I found some forests completely charred by the demons and bandits in this area, but it's strange; it's as if the war here is just beginning, since everything looks so recent.
After adjusting the angles to find better views, I noticed the great wall looked very imposing, making the area look beautiful. It's a shame the war didn't treat this place well.
I also came across a kind of palisade with some very strange weapons, which were also used in the war of long ago. When I ventured into this area, I noticed an immense layer of fog, from which the dead emerged from the depths. I must find the one responsible for this to prevent this plague from spreading further.
