Navigating the Communications Department.

I still had to proceed through the communications department to reach my next objective. As I moved ahead, I encountered several hiss enemies emerging from that section of the building. I had to take care of them first to ensure the path was clear, using my surroundings to maintain a tactical advantage while dealing with the initial wave of hostiles.

The resistance grew as I pushed deeper into the department halls. I faced off against more aggressive hiss entities that blocked the corridors, forcing me into a confrontation. I eliminated them, staying alert for more as the environment vibrated with the supernatural energy of the department.

I was hoping there would be more enemies to stop me on my way, so I used my latest ability to lift a heavy object, carrying it with me. I kept it hovering nearby, ready to launch it at the first sign of trouble while I navigated the office space.

Surprisingly, I did not find any immediate enemies to throw that object at despite the high tension. However, I found a vital space that I could use to claim a control point.

After cleansing the area, this space can now serve as a fast travel point for me, making future navigation through the sector much more efficient.

While exploring the cleared area, I found a dead body that held a clearance level 1 keycard. This discovery was essential, as the data nearby indicated that I needed this specific card to get inside the mailroom.

I retrieved the card, knowing it was the only way to progress further into the restricted communications department.

I used the keycard to open the door of the mailroom and stepped inside cautiously. After getting in, I noticed a flying enemy had appeared to stop me. It hovered high above, chirping with a distorted frequency that signaled a difficult fight ahead.

I started throwing objects at that flying enemy, hoping for a quick takedown. However, the creature was far too fast and cunning. It evaded all the objects I was throwing at it, leaving me frustrated.

Realizing I needed a different approach, I used my service weapon to shoot it from a distance. The precision of the firearm proved much more effective than the heavy objects.

Some of the bullets damaged it well, visibly draining its energy as it struggled to maintain its flight pattern under the constant pressure.

Just as I was gaining the upper hand, some ground enemies arrived to surround me along with their flying ally. I realized I needed to take care of these ground ones first, as they seemed wilder and were closing the distance fast.

When I thought the flying one would get down at any time, as its health bar was nearing the end, the situation took an unexpected turn. Suddenly, it got spooked and charged toward the back of the room.

It broke a door to a maintenance server from where it escaped the room, leaving me alone in the wreckage.
