After cleansing the torii gate, I explored the shrine and learned to use katashiro to save trapped spirits. Following KK's guidance, I sent souls away through a phone booth and survived a strange vision of the masked man. In Enzancho, I searched KK's apartment and found a map marking the fog barrier and Mari’s possible location.
I had to examine and then cleanse the torii gate after taking the ghosts around down. There was like an invisible barrack on the gate that I had to clear with the cleansing.
KK was glad to know they could still cleanse the gates and then he suggested Akito to take a look inside the shrine. After getting inside there, I found 10 katashiro, and I didn't know its uses.
I had to keep on moving towards Yugenzaka, and suddenly, I noticed a dog was barking at something. Akito was confused about it, and then KK told him to look over there, where some ghosts were caging some souls.
KK said there was still time to save the souls, mentioning those things have already done enough to this city. And to save the spirits, I had to take down those ghosts.
I held a katashiro out to the spirits and absorbed them.
As it worked, KK suggested me to look for a phone booth for step two and I absorbed more spirits on my way towards Enzan Neon District where I should've found a phone booth.
I found a phone booth under a over bridge somewhere and KK suggested me to pick up the receiver so he could connect us. Then I had to hold the katashiro with absorbed spirits on that telephone machine and something happened.
Later, KK said anyone the fog turned into a spirit should go back to normal once we send them outside.
Then something happened to Akito. It looked like he was going unconscious and he dreamed the masked man who had spirits around him and he mentioned only he had the key to those souls salvation.
After coming out of the dream or whatever you may call it, KK said we needed to get out there and save as many spirits as we could. And we were back to our little tour with Yugenzaka still being out next stop.
There was this convenience store where KK mentioned we could find something useful. After getting inside the store, I saw a cat floating and KK mentioned its technically a yokai who was like a trader for me.
After reaching Enzancho, I had to climb up to that building and unlock the entrance of an apartment that looked like KK's place.
I had to search the apartment where I found a map and KK mentioned everything on that map falls within the barrier. Anyone who touches inside the fog, vanishes. It looked like KK did some research on these things and he marked an area where Mari and the masked man can be.
