A Masked Prophet.

A masked man appeared on the screens calling lost souls toward him, promising redemption before trapping them in magical cages. Akito watched from hiding while fighting the voice inside his body for control. When he finally took over, he faced eyeless ghosts and I learned first magical attacks in a tense opening encounter.

So, after the last incident, a man in a Hannya mask was seen in most of the screens at that intersection, where he was calling for the souls, asking them to hear his call. He mentioned he would be the salvation and soul-redemption of the souls.

The man was promising that the souls would be purified and form the foundation of the world to come. He also mentioned, a suitable vessel has been re-dived in anticipation of their arrival. So the souls started gathering forth.

He was meant to free the soul. As you are saying, a most noble end was awaiting them. But he actually caged all the souls in his magical cages and banished them from this world.

Akito saw it all from his cover and when that little announcement of the man in the mask ended, the ghost souls started moving again ang this time, a soul of a giant monkey was seen in the crew.

Then Akito tried to walk ahead without the voice in his head wanting it. Then the voice asked him to quit fighting as this body is his now, mentioning Akito is already dead and he's toast if the voice leave the body.

The voice asked Akito to obey him but Akito said there's something he needed to do and then he remembered his sick sister who is in the hospital bed.

As Akito was rejecting the orders of the voice, the voice inside him was controlling his body and was hurting himself to show who is the boss now. And Akito fought back so the voice said he'd play along for now, remembering Akito that his life is in other hands now.

Akito asked the voice not to order him again and then at last, I got control over the character. I was getting guide on the controls at first and when I was moving around, I noticed the graphics of the game is really cool.

After walking for a bit, some ghosts in black suit appeared who didn't have eyes, but they could see me.

They tried to attack Akito in the cinematic part where the voice mentioned they can't run and asked Akito to do as the voice says if he wants to live.

There I was learned to attack the ghosts and block to soften any hits I take. Both the attacking and the blocking looked magical. It felt like I was playing Doctor Strange of MCU.
