Shiroyama Shrine is Different.

I continued my mission to save spirits. After destroying a corrupted tree to open the road, I fought a dangerous duo of spirits and reached the massive Shiroyama Shrine. I cleared the outskirts and cleansed a gate, only to find the inner sanctum completely barren and heavily corrupted.

I continued my exploration of the city, moving from block to block to hunt down demons. My primary goal remained saving the trapped spirits, and I took down several guards along the way to set them free. Each encounter felt like I was slowly reclaiming the streets from the supernatural fog.

Suddenly, I spotted a demon wearing a suit lingering near a corrupted tree. There was another one positioned right beneath the trunk, almost as if they were standing guard over the corruption.

I decided to tail the demon in the suit to see what he was up to. He led me to a nearby building, where he began knocking on a door very gently. I used the opportunity to move in and destroyed him quietly, ensuring that the other spirits in the area wouldn't be alerted to my presence.

With the immediate threat neutralized, I took down the second guard in stealth as well. I then turned my attention to the tree that was blocking the my path. I aimed for its glowing core and shot it, which successfully cleansed that section and opened up the road ahead.

Further down the street, I encountered a suit-wearing demon and a headless demon patrolling together. It was a dangerous duo, but I managed to coordinate my attacks and took them both down before they could overwhelm me with their different fighting styles.

At last, I reached the Shiroyama Shrine. It was an imposing structure, and I knew that reaching it was only half the battle. To fully unlock the area, I would need to cleanse the entire site of its lingering corruption.

The shrine was a massive area filled with demons. I realized I couldn't just rush to the center, so I spent some time systematically taking care of the guards on the outskirts to make the final push much safer.

I moved forward and cleansed the first gate. The spiritual energy felt powerful, and I hoped that the inner sanctum would reward my efforts with some useful items.

I stepped inside, hoping to find more Katashiro to increase my carrying capacity, but I was disappointed. The shrine was so heavily corrupted that it looked like everything of value had been destroyed or vanished. There was absolutely nothing left behind for me to collect.
