Reclaiming the Subordinate Function.

I navigated a steep climb and used a rope slide to reach a workbench, where I crafted a vine cutter module for my spear. I returned to the facility's core, used melee attacks to open a metal flower, and dissolved the vines blocking our path.

After entering the inner sanctum, I successfully reintegrated the Demeter subordinate function into the Gaia kernel, while Alva secured a massive amount of data from the central server for her people.

I realized I needed to craft a vine cutter, but the workbench was located at the camp outside. After I pried open the heavy door, I had to navigate a tricky climb up an elevator shaft. It was a steep ascent, but I eventually reached the upper levels where the path to the camp was clearer.

Once I was high enough, Alva and I used a rope to slide down toward the workbench area. Alva kept following me closely, trusting my lead as we moved through the overgrown ruins of the facility.

I finally reached the workbench and crafted the vine cutter. This was a piece of special gear that was installed directly onto my spear. Its core module was designed specifically to dissolve the stubborn vines produced by metal flowers, which had been blocking our progress for a while.

With the new tool ready, we headed back to the datacore to test it out. I approached the metal flower that was sealing the way, feeling much more prepared now that I had the right equipment for the job.

I had to use melee attacks to force the metal flower to open up its petals. Once it was exposed, I quickly installed the vine cutter module into the center of the plant.

The effect was immediate; the vines covering the door began to wither and fall away. With the obstruction cleared, we were finally able to open the door and step inside the inner sanctum of the facility.

After we entered the datacore, it was time to bring Demeter home. I approached the console and inserted the Gaia kernel to begin the recovery process. It felt like a massive victory to finally reach this point after everything we went through.

I watched as the console worked to restore Demeter's subordinate function to its original code. I successfully secured the data, ensuring that this vital piece of Gaia could be reintegrated to help heal the world.

Aloy mentioned that while she held a tight grip on the datacore itself, Alva now had access to the central server. This gave Alva access to a wealth of data, providing her with plenty of information to bring back home to her people.

The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online.

SEE YOU.

The way you described returning to the datacore made it feel like closing a long chapter, not just completing an objective. The gameplay look cool.
