Looking for Ellie.

I understood that I'm getting emotionally attached to the concept. I could just leave the enemy corpses behind after shooting them but as you can see on the thumbnail, I felt relieved seeing them getting burned. I felt so attached to Joel and Ellie that not only Joel, I also became crazy in looking for the kid.

When I entered the path to West Wing, I noticed some firefly soldiers were running towards this way to take me down so I took cover behind that stretcher and I waited till they left to that floor.

Then I went to this desk area to see if I could get any loot there but I those firefly soldiers came back as they didn't find me on that floor and they were about to search for me behind this desk and would probably start shooting me.

I did perfect timing on throwing a bottle away to distract them when they were about to pin me there. Then I killed one of them in stealth but another one noticed the dead body so I didn't take a chance and I just burned them up throwing two fire bottles on them.

There were no more enemies close to me at that time and I was in a rush to find Ellie but I still waited there just to see them burning as it was giving me mental satisfaction.

I went ahead to get to the stairwell but there was anther soldier who was looking for me as he heard the noise I made behind. This man somehow noticed me on that floor so he was being careful. I grabbed him when he came close and then I took him down by hitting him on the head.

I found the door to the stairwell so I got in and before climbing up, I used that chair to stuck the door so no fireflies can come after me through the stairwell.

After getting to the top floor where I should've found Ellie in the operation theatre, I found two sound clips where one of them was from the head surgeon who recorded the condition of Ellie and Merlene talked about how she had to take the hard decision in the other record.

There was this locked room on that floor where I barged in after breaking the lock and I found some loots inside.

I saw some cabins and common wards on this floor and then I noticed where the surgery room goes so I followed that way.

I thought I was done fighting the enemies but I just found another group that was waiting there just at the entrance of the surgery room to stop me. I didn't let any of them live.

After taking them down, I went ahead and noticed the way to the pediatric surgery unit and Joel made sure that no one follows him there.

The red door was the final door. Ellie was about to get killed on the other side and when I opened that door, I noticed shadows of some doctors doing something inside. I just realized there was one more door that was keeping me apart from Ellie.

We'll check what happens next in another post and that'd be the end of the concept.
