Hello to all street art lovers! For those who don't know me, I'm from Venezuela and one of my hobbies is finding interesting murals or drawings to photograph. I have uploaded my results through the community and from time to time, it encouraged me to enter the weekly contests. In the city where I live (Barquisimeto), it is not so easy to find street art. The murals and graffiti are far apart from each other and are often covered so quickly that when I plan to go photograph them, they are no longer there ha ha I still remember the beautiful mandala mural that I saw from afar while riding the bus and when I was finally able to go on foot to photograph it. It was replaced by a horrible gray wall (it's still like that)… Anyway, recently I came across some murals that I loved, so I decided to join the contest.

The first photo, with which I participate, shows us a girl giving color to the clouds so that they can later distribute their colors throughout the city. It is located in the eastern part of the city of Barquisimeto (Venezuela). I really liked it because apart from being a large mural, I adore the colors and the subtlety of the girl's drawing. Perhaps you want to express that ability that children have to see the world in a grander and more vibrant way than it really is. I remember that when I was little, my imagination would fly and everything around me was part of a magical scenario, then when I grew up, the "grey days" came, but that does not mean that from time to time, sudden rains do not appear colors that make everything fill with joy again.

As an addition, I show you a couple of murals that are next to the first one. In the same way, in both I like the use of colors, since despite being quite basic, without the use of shadows or a lot of definition, they are still striking. A musical note clearly expresses to us that music gives color to existence. I'm the kind of person who needs to listen to music to perform their daily tasks, I feel that this makes any activity, no matter how tedious, end up being more tolerable. The beautiful feeling that is born when a song strikes a chord with us, has no comparison. Every day I am in search of a new tune or song that will make me dance or bring tears to my eyes. I am sure that this mural is dedicated to the people that an instrument represents a lifeline that keeps them afloat in their complicated lives.

In the same way, dance and dance, as a representation of the body, is a clear example of that inspiring energy that flows from human beings. I think that through the last mural, we can see that dynamism. I will always be surprised by those people who choose this type of art to be able to express themselves, since it requires enormous conviction.

¡Hola a todos los amantes del arte callejero! Para los que no me conozcan, soy de Venezuela y uno de mis pasatiempos es hallar murales o dibujos interesantes para fotografiar. He subido mis hallazgos a través de la comunidad y una que otra vez, me he animado a participar en los concursos semanales. En la ciudad en la que vivo (Barquisimeto), no es tan fácil encontrar arte callejero. Los murales y grafitis están muy apartados entre sí y Muchas veces, son cubiertos tan rápido que cuando programo el ir a fotografiarlos, ya no están ahí ja ja todavía recuerdo el hermoso mural de un mándala que veía desde lejos mientras iba en el autobús y cuando pude por fin, ir a pie a fotografiarlo, Fue sustituido por una horrible pared gris (aún sigue así)… En fin, hace poco me hallé con unos murales que me encantaron, así que me animé a unirme al concurso.

La primera foto, con la que participo, nos muestra a una niña otorgándole color a las nubes para que luego las mismas, distribuyan sus colores por toda la ciudad. Está ubicado en la zona Este de la ciudad de Barquisimeto (Venezuela). Me gustó mucho porque aparte de ser un mural grande, adoro los colores y la sutileza del dibujo de la niña. Quizás quiere expresar esa habilidad que tienen los niños para ver el mundo de un modo más grandioso y vibrante de lo que verdaderamente es. Recuerdo que cuando era pequeña, mi imaginación se ponía a volar y todo a mi alrededor formaba parte de un escenario mágico, luego al crecer, llegaron los "días grises", pero eso no significa que de vez en cuando, no aparezcan las repentinas lluvias coloridas que hagan que todo, vuelva a llenarse de alegría.

Como añadido, les muestro un par de murales que se encuentran al lado del primero. De igual forma, en ambos me gusta el uso de los colores, ya que a pesar de ser bastante básicos, sin uso de sombras o mucha definición, siguen siendo llamativos. Una nota musical nos expresa claramente que la música le da color a la existencia. Soy de la clase de personas que necesita escuchar música para realizar sus tareas diarias, siento que eso hace que cualquier actividad, por más tediosa que sea, termine siendo más tolerable. El hermoso sentimiento que nace cuando una canción nos toca una fibra sensible, no tiene comparación. Diariamente estoy en búsqueda de una tonada o canción nueva que me ponga a bailar o haga que mis ojos se llenen de lágrimas. Estoy segura de que ese mural está dedicado a las personas que un instrumento, representa un salvavidas que los mantiene a flote en sus complicadas vidas.

Del mismo modo, el baile y la danza, como representación del cuerpo, es un claro ejemplo de esa energía inspiradora que brota de los seres humanos. Pienso que a través del último mural, podemos ver ese dinamismo. Siempre me sorprenderán esas personas que escogen éste tipo de arte para poder expresarse, ya que se requiere de una enorme convicción.
