Continuing with my series of post about the street art of Antofagasta (Chile), I share three photos of some murals that no longer exists. The photos were taken some years ago. The main feature of the paintings are the lettering, so that they look like abstract images. Also notice the small black heads, with “two eyes” in the upper part, are they aliens?
Siguiendo mi serie de publicaciones sobre el arte urbano de Antofagasta, les presento una serie de murales que ya no existen, las fotografías fueron tomadas hace unos pocos años atrás. Se trata de una serie de obras, cuya carácter principal es el ”lettering” y pueden observar que el resultado son unas pinturas que lucen bastante abstractas. Noten las pequeñas cabezas negras con dos ejos amarillos, ¿representan extraterrestres?
The wall, where these murals were located, is under constant rotation of graffitis; which are of “rebel type”. In one of the images, I show the surroundings of this wall; which can be considered as street photography, for this reason I also share a black and white version.
The photos were taken with the camera of a Samsung Galaxy S20. During the edition, done in Gimp, important perspective adjustments were done.
