Hoy regreso a esta comunidad para compartir con ustedes unos grafitis que encontré en la galería de mi teléfono, de cuando vivía en Cuba y paseaba por las calles de la Habana.
En cierta ocasión en que visité el Pabellón Cuba, sitio de exposición y donde se hacen muchas actividades culturales y ferias del libro, me encontré con estos graffitis en el muro trasero del lugar. Es una larga pared los grafitis que brotan como flores de asfalto, como gritos en el mudo lenguaje del hormigón.

Today I return to this community to share with you some graffiti I found in my phone's gallery, from when I lived in Cuba and wandered the streets of Havana.
On one occasion when I visited the Pabellón Cuba,an exhibition site where many cultural activities and book fairs are held, I came across these graffiti on the building's back wall. It is a long wall where the graffiti sprout like asphalt flowers, like shouts in the mute language of concrete.
Pienso que estos graffitis no son vandalismo, sino la voz del que no tiene voz, el sentir de una creatividad que se niega a ser invisible. Admirar un graffiti es escuchar esa voz, es descifrar un mensaje lanzado al viento, con la certeza de su fugacidad.
Cada obra, desde lo más sencillo hasta el mural más complejo, encierra una historia. Detrás hay horas de observación, de riesgo, de adrenalina contenida al amparo de la noche. Hay una declaración de existencia: "Estuve aquí, vi esto, lo transformé".
I think these graffiti are not vandalism,but the voice of the voiceless, the feeling of a creativity that refuses to be invisible. To admire graffiti is to listen to that voice, to decipher a message cast to the wind, with the certainty of its fleeting nature.
Each piece, from the simplest to the most complex mural, contains a story. Behind it are hours of observation, risk, and adrenaline held back under the cover of night. There is a declaration of existence: "I was here, I saw this, I transformed it."
Admirarlos es reconocer ese valor, esa osadía de desafiar el lienzo impuesto, de reclamar la calle como galería para todos.Y dentro de estos graffitis encontré una frase que me gustó mucho y de la cual me apropié enseguida por su comparación y verdad, por su significado, ya que así mismo me sentía yo.
To admire them is to recognize that value,that daring to defy the imposed canvas, to claim the street as a gallery for all. And within these graffiti, I found a phrase I liked very much and immediately appropriated for its comparison and truth, for its meaning, as it was exactly how I felt.
La estética de los graffitis varia y cada artista tiene un lenguaje propio. La fluidez o no, de la línea, la explosión de colores. La letra, deformada o estilizada hasta convertirse en un símbolo, en un sello de identidad. Disfruto admirar y apreciar esta técnica, nacida en los vagones del metro de Nueva York y perfeccionada en cada rincón urbano del mundo.
The aesthetic of graffiti varies,and each artist has their own language. The fluidity, or lack thereof, of the line, the explosion of colors. The lettering, distorted or stylized until it becomes a symbol, a seal of identity. I enjoy admiring and appreciating this technique, born in the subway cars of New York and perfected in every urban corner of the world.
Un graffiti puede ser borrado al día siguiente si al dueño de la pared no le gusta, puede ser cubierto por otra obra, o desvanecerse poco a poco bajo el sol y la lluvia. Es un arte efímero. Esta temporalidad le da una intensidad única. Admirar los grafitis es celebrar el pulso indómito, rebelde y creativo bajo la piel de piedra de nuestras calles y ciudades.
A piece of graffiti can be erased the next day if the wall's owner doesn't like it, it can be covered by another work, or fade little by little under the sun and rain. It is an ephemeral art. This temporality gives it a unique intensity.To admire graffiti is to celebrate the untamed, rebellious, and creative pulse beneath the stone skin of our streets and cities.

It's beautiful, especially because of the combination of some pastel colors and other more vivid or vibrant ones, as I say. It's true, graffiti doesn't have a voice, but their art speaks for them, it says a lot. Best regards.

Tienes razón, estos grafitis no son vandalismo, son la voz de aquellos que no tienen voz, la creatividad que se niega a ser silenciada. Cada obra es una historia, un mensaje lanzado al viento, y admirarlos es reconocer ese valor y esa osadía.

Hola, son muy lindos los graffitis que muestras; a menudo suelo ver algunos por donde vivo, pero suelen ser o con firmas o con mensajes que no suelen ser bonitos. Sin embargo, comparto lo de que necesariamente no son malos, sino que es un mensaje de cada persona; sin embargo, debo decir que me encantó la gran sirena de su foto, es muy hermosa.
