Monday is the day of the Weekly Street Art with its selection of 3 articles written last week in our community. We discovered almost 25 works coming from all over the world like in Ibadan in Nigeria thanks to @herbae, in Germany thanks to @street-ar, in Estonia thanks to @metsaloomad, in Portugal with the "regulars" @akida and @betterthanhome but also in South America with @septymahija in Argentina, or in Venezuela with @suezoe... And that's only some examples... In the selection we go to Pakistan, Mexico and Cyprus. Street Art is everywhere.
Wabi Sabi, a couple with a passion for street art (and apparently also for Scrabble) who stick their letters poetically in the streets. The duo was on the streets of Montreal this summer. And it's by pure chance that I discovered this work. A stroke of luck as I like them 😀.

Not easy to these letters hidden in the corner of a wall. On the door, a collage of Mistake Project.
FR : Il fallait voir ces lettres cachées au coin d'un mur. Sur la porte, un collage de Mistake Project.
Here are the 3 articles selected this week, always subjective because there are many very interesting posts. I remind you that I put the pictures in black and white just to give you an idea. It's worth going to see the original photos on the post (and at the same time, you can upvote).

@lifeskills-tv - Shahid - Rawalpindi (Pakistan)
First stop this week in the city of Rawalpindi in Pakistan. We discover a very colorful wall photographed by @lifeskills-tv who took the time to speak with the artist, Shahid, to explain us his work. Always cool to see the artist in action.

@chacald.dcymt - Tijauna (Mexico)
We go to Mexico in Tijuana with @chacald.dcymt to discover this superb project with the collage of 15 portraits of Dreamers, young people installed since their youth in the United States and sent back to a country they don't know anymore years later because of a paper. You can have more info on this project on the post but also on izbethdelacruzsantana.com. Street Art (and Art in general) often allows to raise social issues. 🙏

📰 A mural with a life story in its strokes
@vagabundler - Bane & Pest - Nicosia (Cyprus)
And we finish this week on the island of Cyprus with a new wall photographed by @vagabundler. This bird was made by two artists Bane, of Swiss origin and PesBoldt, local artist. Very nice result and despite the passing years the work remains beautiful.

The letters are so cool… what a great idea.
Happy Tuesday! Thanks for sharing these cool works @heroldius 😊👋🏻
Very orginal idea... but hard to spot on the streets.
Have a good afternoon
Yes, I can imagine.
Thanks a lot @heroldius 👋🏻😊
Thanks
You're welcome... cool to see Street Art from Pakistan 👍
Great post, as always! Do you think users have left hive or is its growth stagnating? I have almost no engagement anymore...what is your opinion? Greets
Weird I didn't see your last posts but on my feed :
But as you see, you're "Not Found" 😀. I don't know why...
It's difficult to be see on Hive and even more difficult to have an exchange, few people read the posts, they upvote without reading or seeing. It's automatic.You can find some stastictics about hive on this post : https://peakd.com/hive-133987/@arcange/hive-statistics-20221120-en.
I hope your engagement will come back as time goes by 🤞, especially with your interesting artistic work. Hive needs Artists.
I really liked the selection. You're right, street art often allows to express social problems and that's what I liked about this mural. Thank you very much for your support.

Thanks for sharing this project that I didn't know. And beautiful photos by the way.
First time I see some "Scrambles" on a wall, that is ery original
Quite original and not easy to see... On their Instagram I saw that they had done others in the streets of Montreal but the only one I've seen so far.
I love the scrabble letters lol. The Pakistani art is so bright and vibrant. The border fence should be full of protest art - perfect. And finally the bird by PEST is aging beautifully.
Another great week on the Street Art communauty... And a big thank you for being a regular and assiduous member.
Have a great tuesday, not too cold in the South? 😀
I've never seen someone using scrabble tiles like that - that is so cool 👍
Yep very original idea... but difficult to see because of their size.
