Recently I had the opportunity to travel to a beautiful city in my country which I wanted to know for a long time, although the visit was short and really was not much that I could travel as I would have liked, I was already aware that there were many murals and I could not miss the opportunity to capture some to share with you, which I will place progressively.


This city bears the name of Barquisimeto, is located and is the capital of the state of Lara in my country Venezuela, many name it as the musical city, I will talk about that in one of my next publications, what I can tell you, is that it is a very beautiful, colorful, amazing and full of art of all kinds, that was not much I could go, maybe some other time I have the opportunity to return.


For today I chose this mural that according to what I researched, dates from the year 2022, made on the dates on which the is celebrated Semana santa or Semana mayor here in Venezuela, has an extension of 75 meters long, is located specifically in the avenue los leones of the city mentioned above, was made by the artist Katiuska Ruiz in collaboration with a team, his artistic name Katiuskarte, you can visit her instagram to appreciate her work, part of the art that I captured in the area is by this talented artist.


This wonderful mural is dedicated to "The Passion of Christ ”, and shows in a certain way the phases through which our Lord Jesus Christ went from the last supper, when he was crucified, died and resurrected, you can see here the mural recently elaborated, you can read a little more information about the mural in the following link.

It was quite difficult for me to choose the image for the contest, since all of them are beautiful between their simplicity and complexity, I was inclined to choose the one of Jesus Christ already risen.

Hace poco tuve la oportunidad de viajar para una bella ciudad de mi país la cual quería conocer hacia bastante tiempo, aunque la visita fue corta y realmente no fue mucho lo que pude transitar tal como hubiese querido, ya estaba en conocimiento que habían muchos murales y no podía perder la oportunidad de capturar algunos para compartirlos con ustedes, los cuales iré colocando de manera progresiva.


Esta ciudad lleva el nombre de Barquisimeto, esta ubicada y es la capital del estado Lara de mi país Venezuela, muchos la nombran como la ciudad musical, de eso hablare en alguna de mis siguientes publicaciones, lo que si les puedo decir, es que es un sitio muy hermoso, colorido, sorprendente y lleno de arte de todo tipo, eso que no fue mucho lo que pude recorrer, quizás en algún otro momento tenga la oportunidad de regresar.


Para hoy escogí este mural que según lo que investigue, data del año 2022, realizado en las fechas en las cuales se celebra la Semana santa o Semana mayor acá en Venezuela, tiene una extensión de 75 metros de largo, esta ubicado específicamente en la avenida los leones de la ciudad antes mencionada, fue realizado por la artista plástica Katiuska Ruiz en colaboración con un equipo de trabajo, su nombre artístico Katiuskarte, pueden visitar su instagram para que aprecien su trabajo, parte del arte que capte en la zona es de esta talentosa artista.


Este maravilloso mural esta dedicado a "La Pasión de Cristo", y muestra de cierta manera las fases por la cual paso nuestro Señor Jesucristo desde la ultima cena, cuando fue crucificado, murió y resucito, pueden observar por acá el mural recién elaborado, pueden leer un poco mas de información con respecto al mural en el siguiente link.

Me fue bastante difícil escoger la imagen para el concurso, ya que todas son hermosas entre su simplicidad y complejidad, me incline por la de Jesucristo ya resucitado.
