Continuing our trip to Gramado and the Serra Gaúcha...

Our last day in Gramado, and to end this trip there is nothing like a peaceful stroll, especially after days of lots of wine and food, there is nothing better than walking and sweating a lot.

We started at Lago Negro, which has calm waters and, as the name suggests, they are dark.

IMG_20230525_124712.jpgThis lake is located inside a park and the trails around the lake are great for walking or running, and along the way you will find huge Araucaria trees.

Along the way you will also find some shops and restaurants, as well as musicians and street artists expressing themselves and showing their work.

For those who want to venture into the lake, there are some pedal boats available for fun.

It was a great start to a farewell day.

In the afternoon, after lunch, we decided to visit the charming neighboring town of Canela, known for its natural beauty and the imposing Stone Cathedral.

The visit was brief, but the Gothic architecture of the cathedral is truly impressive and stands out against the backdrop of the city center.

We strolled through the streets, explored some local shops and enjoyed the tranquility of the city.

After sunset, we returned to Gramado for dinner and back at the hotel, where we started packing our bags and preparing for our next destination.

Beautiful place to visit and rest, the architecture of that cathedral is amazing. Looking at your photos I find an important resemblance to the lakes of Palermo in Buenos Aires. Nice shots @vaipraonde friend!
