Grabbing the ferry felt good! Felt like I was heading off to an island full of exploring and that’s what I did :)

I absolutely loveddddd being at base camp !! First night I went into the kitchen to cook but I turned around and walked straight back out again! They was a tin of tuna opened with millions of ants crawling all over it !!! So yea haha I ate at the bar there!

It was a stunning little hostel apart from that :) oh and the possum that woke the next doom up in the middle of the night which woke our doom up !!!!

( omg just googled it and it’s actually even more stunning than it was in 2013 !!! )

That’s where it is a little bus journey from the jetty :)! The buses are really good actually took myself off one day to explore the beaches just got on and got off where I liked the look of :)

But my highlight of Magnetic Island was of
Bungalow Bay Koala Village Tehe where I got to cuddle my first Koala !! Oh my the little sanctuary was so super cute the tour guide was awesome and we got to hold so many things!!!

I opted out on the snake :/ and the baby crocodile but I did stroke the crocodile!! Went no where near the snake !!

I was reading my book one evening over my dinner at the bar think some quiz was going on but as I hadn’t tagged along with anyone I was sitting on an outdoor picnic bench watching the sunset etc
A young girl id actually seen on the bus came and sat down and said can I sit here! That’s what happened when your solo backpacking !! We chatted for ages told each other our stories so far and where we were going added each other on Facebook and I’m pretty sure we meet up again along the way!

Honestly I loved my little island getaway but I’ve got another island coming up and I loved that even more !!!
